"The judge's order went beyond removal of the feeding tube to removal of all hydration and nutrition. His barring food and water of any kind was clearly unlawful."

Can you quote any Florida laws to back up this claim.
Why wouldn't the supreme court hear this case if it was clearly unlawful as you claim?

Btw, I know that sometimes people have to let their loved ones go. In my opinion, that's not wrong.

The people who have had to do this shouldn't feel bad or guilty.

If she was a vegetable as you believe then it is not a big deal. At least her life brought pleasure to her real family. But they don't matter because Michael loved and cared for her so well.

The mere fact that she brought pleasure to her family made her life fraught with moral worth and her husband's killing of her all the more immoral.

No wonder her mother couldn't bear to go
into the room any more.

Yeah, and Felos' words smoothing this cra*
over go through my mind.

Rush was all over that today. He was livid.

No brain scan was ever done on poor Terri.

That's what pulls at my soul. When they do an autopsy, will they also do a brain scan you think? That question has to be answered.

It is ILLEGAL to not provide water by mouth to the disabled

Florida Law

It is ILLEGAL not to provide water by mouth to patients

Refusing medical treatment is not against the law.

Psalm 23 (soft flash clip)

The Lord is my Shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: He leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for His name' sake.

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: For thou art with me; Thy rod and thy staff, they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies; Thou annointest my head with oil; My cup runneth over.

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the House of the Lord forever.

Naturally administered food and water isn't considered medical treatment.

I have created terrisjustice for those who truly want to seek justice
against the perpetrators who took part in Terri's murder. This is only
for those who can see through the schemes of those who did nothing to
avert her murder .. which includes on up to the President of our
United States and my Florida Governor, etc.

Group descrip:

The group seeks to be a forum for those seeking justice for the domestic terrorist murder of Theresa Marie Schindler.

Judge Greer is a REPUBLICAN

Yes, I know. But you must admit, his actions were fought by true conservatives and praised by Libs. Ever heard of a RINO?

Even the SCOTUS is considered by libs as conservative, but judging by their rulings in the past few years, it appears whatever conservatives are there have either changed their points of view, or are being led around by the nose by Ruth BadGirl Ginzberg.

My point on all this is that the DeathoCrats are now truly the party of death. They have tens of millions of murders on their hands (abortions) and this high profile case can lead to things most of us could not imagine (the 'slippery slope').

The court system in this country is now out of control, supported by the totally corrupt AACLU. Their rulings are leading to more deaths all over our country.

Yes, Greer may be a Republican, but he is not a true conservative. He is in the DeathoCrat camp and should be impeached or voted out, just like any incumbent politician that supports this kind of judicial tyranny.

The Schindlers were ordered out of Terri's room at 8:45 am by MS. Terri died at 9:00 am or 9:05.

According to lier...i mean..lawyer Felos there was some kind of dispute. I'm not clear yet as to what exactly happened. But the fact remains that Terri's loved ones were ordered to leave Terri's room 15-20 minutes before she died.

the scumbag, ie, Michael Schiavo, is intent on controlling everything until Terri is cremated and beyond.

MS is of the devil and I won't cry any tears when what's due to him comes due. The sooner the better.

Nutrition and hydration via a feeding tube is, under Florida law. Perhaps that law should be changed, but that's the law the courts had to work with here.

Gore carried Pinellas narrowly. So did Bush. My guess is the elderly vote, although Hillsborough county(Tampa) went for Bush twice.

A lot of Michiganders moved to both areas, and also Naples/Sarasota/Lakeland/.

The greatest irony will be if Michael ends up in Terri's condition for fifteen years. But let's have him aware of everything and be utterly unable to communicate. Will his devoted 'wife' deny him food and water after taking out hefty insurance policies on his life?

A Painless Death?

Excerpt:

"An accurate discussion of this sensitive issue requires the making of proper and nuanced distinctions about the consequences of removing nourishment from incapacitated patients. This generally becomes an issue in one of the following two diametrically differing circumstances:

(1) Depriving food and water from profoundly cognitively disabled persons like Terri who are not otherwise dying, a process that causes death by dehydration over a period of 10-14 days. As I will illustrate below, this may cause great suffering.

(2) Not forcing food and water upon patients who have stopped eating and drinking as part of the natural dying process. This typically occurs, for example, at the end stages of cancer when patients often refuse nourishment because the disease has distorted their senses of hunger and thirst. In these situations, being deprived of unwanted food and water when the body is already shutting down does not cause a painful death.

Advocates who argue that it is appropriate to dehydrate cognitively disabled people often sow confusion about the suffering such patients may experience by inadvertently, or perhaps intentionally, blurring the difference between these two distinct situations. "

(snip)

"Yes, it is true that when people are actively dying from terminal disease, they often refuse food and water. The disease makes the food and water repulsive to them. In such circumstances, it is medically inappropriate to force food and water into a person who is actively rejecting it. Indeed, doing so could cause suffering.

But this isn't what is happening to Terri. She isn't dying of cancer. Her body isn't shutting down as part of the natural dying process. Indeed, she is not dying at all--unless her food and water is taken away. "

More name calling from a so-called religious person. This was not your decision to make. It was her husbands decision and was backed by many many years of litigation. I do not support his decision, but it was his to make unless it could be proven in a court of law that he was not a proper guardian.

Actually I'm not particularly religious and disagree with the religious right on a whole bunch of issues. Just not this one.

But it's a telltale sign of a leftist to throw out the "religious" angle when they can't make a rational argument.

And your deficiencies in that area are clear by your claim that it's her "husband's decision." Even the most strident and hysterical death cultists understand that the law says that it's the patient's decision. The husband here is simply the mouthpiece for her decision. In this case he happened to lie and get a lawless judge to believe him and a manifest injustice was done, though leftists obviously don't see it that way.
