This is the Roe v Wade of our time. That is why so many are so angry at the GOP and Bush. Roe v Wade defined legally when life begins, at birth, now Terry will define life ends when you can no longer communicate clearly a desire to live. We just can not let that happen. And any so called leader that walks away ain't worth squat.

I've talked to several in my family - my dad and some uncles - who are WWII vets. They're not just horrified, they're outraged. They knew at the time about the euthanasia connection, how it led to the rise of Nazi-ism.

In Loving Memory of Terri Schiavo - Virtual Flowers, Notes, Moments of Silence, Prayers -- People must be made aware of the awful truth. I was thinking about this today when I saw Felos' press conference, I thought about Nancy Cruzan. A young girl who got into a car crash. Her parent's listened to the "experts" about their daughters condition. Neurologists and lawyers like Felos talked them into not believing what their eyes told them about thier daughter i.e. she smiled, watched tv. exc.. and they went to court to have her tube removed and have her starved and dehydrated to death. A year after she died, her father hung himself, and after that her mother, had cancer , but refused treatment and also died. Sadly, they had to find out the hard way about the horrors of euthanasia.

Scientology and Terri Schindler Schiavo: The Death Connection -- I've heard this rumor before. In Catholic circles, Terri's situation is not new to us. We've been hearing about her plight for years. I had heard this rumor years ago. Her only eating 'disorder' was following some Scientology 'cleansing' ritual. A lot of this has not been mentioned in recent years and links are hard to find. Lisa McPherson's case was remarkably similar except she died right away, not 15 years later. Rumors (I'll be googling this, too) years ago were that Michael was into scientology and introduced her to it.
