After much hard work that has gone on for well over a year, it's been a week and 2 days since Terri has been without food and hydration.
Many asking the question how we could have become such a callous society as to deny a helpless human the basic necessity of food and water.
Terri's plight has brought to light many problems in the judicial system and opened our eyes to the fact that some laws need to be changed.
The work will continue to protect helpless individuals from suffering the same injustice as Terri.
Thank you, Diogenesis. As always, your posts are not to be missed.
Pat Buchanan brought up the Nazi reference: he said it was nazi-like to exterminate poor Terri Schindler and that it is sickening to the human spirit.
Thank you for your and also wish to thank all for their beautiful prayers.
They are helping all of us. We are all under an attack from the forces of darkness. The is what is spoken of in the Bible -->
We fight not flesh and blood but principalities of darkness. It's in Ethesians.
I'm just trying to imagine all those Disabled people showing up as representatives of Terri on Capitol Hill. Saying to the Politico's: " She could here because you don't want her", you all left her to die."
I'm trying to imagine the News coverage of that. How bad it's going to make them all look.
I'll take what's behind door #2
I'll love Thee in life, I will love Thee in death, And praise Thee as long as Thou lendest me breath; And say when the death-dew lies cold on my brow, If ever I loved Thee, my Jesus, 'tis now.
In mansions of glory and endless delight, I'll ever adore Thee in heaven so bright; I'll sing with the glittering crown on my brow, If ever I loved Thee, my Jesus, 'tis now.
I suggest starting that thread tonight so we can be prepared to begin raising hell as soon as possible
Supposedly, the Bushes were afraid that their popular libertarian wine-and-cheese "base" would desert the GOP if they helped Terri. They were sure the old reliable "religous right" would stay on board no matter what.
How far have the leaders fallen.
Where's the man who stood at Ground Zero?
The liberation of fifty million is moot when Americans are vulnerable to imperial judicial death sentence.
The media has lost it. That case was settled in his favor. What is going on???
The Nazi euthanasia program quickly expanded to include older disabled children and adults. Hitler's decree of October, 1939, typed on his personal stationary, enlarged "the authority of certain physicians to be designated by name in such manner that persons who, according to human judgment, are incurable can, upon a most careful diagnosis of their condition of sickness, be accorded a mercy death."
On August 3, 1941, a Catholic Bishop, Clemens von Galen, delivered a sermon in Münster Cathedral attacking the Nazi euthanasia program calling it "plain murder." The sermon sent a shockwave through the Nazi leadership by publicly condemning the program and urged German Catholics to "withdraw ourselves and our faithful from their (Nazi) influence so that we may not be contaminated by their thinking and their ungodly behavior."
As a result, on August 23, Hitler suspended Aktion T4, which had accounted for nearly a hundred thousand deaths by this time.
The Nazis retaliated against the Bishop by beheading three parish priests who had distributed his sermon, but left the Bishop unharmed to avoid making him into a martyr.
However, the Nazi euthanasia program quietly continued, but without the widespread gassings. Drugs and starvation were used instead and doctors were encouraged to decide in favor of death whenever euthanasia was being considered.

Thanks for repeating what I also heard Buchanan say!!!
Now, for my words. This fight is NOT FOR THE FAINT OF HEART.
If you can't take the heat of a reference to the Nazi's, which is what it is, then get out of the kitchen. For pete sakes, do people not understand - a woman is being starved to death by NO FOOD AND WATER.
It's time to get off the PC talk. It's over. This isn't pretty. It's very ugly. They are murdering Terri Schindler in the State of Florida.
What do you expect when one eats Bush beans?
Why Schiavo case worries the disabled
