After much hard work that has gone on for well over a year, it's been a week and 2 days since Terri has been without food and hydration.
Many asking the question how we could have become such a callous society as to deny a helpless human the basic necessity of food and water.
Terri's plight has brought to light many problems in the judicial system and opened our eyes to the fact that some laws need to be changed.
The work will continue to protect helpless individuals from suffering the same injustice as Terri.
Praying for Gods Will to be done, and not mans will ..unless that man chooses Gods Will.
I just typed you a nice long reply to both of the posts you had to me regarding Eleanor Clift and Tom Harkin---
I made some brilliant points, but when I hit "Post" all I got was a "sorry, this thread closed"---
Therefore, since I can't remember what I wrote, just take my word for it , I was brilliant...ok?
OK!! lol
Since all of you keep posting the same stuff over and over and over and over again.
I post my two cents again. Not everyone on Free Republic agrees with you and I for one am pretty tired of the Nazi references to anyone who does not agree with your view on the matter. Yes I know I will get flamed again. I have a very simple but appropriate response to all of you. Shame, shame, shame.
Your scrolling words - tell it all~!!!!
A line in the sand has been drawn, and it will never go away. Our country has been changed forever.
I just got home from being with my family today. I had a hard time focusing my thoughts on them. My heart is in a hospice room with a dying woman in Florida. I am wrenched with pain like everyone else here. This is not the way I wanted this case to turn out. All I know is that nothing is ever a surprise to God. God will get Glory and not be mocked in the end.
I am confused, hurt, and trying to piece together all that happened in our government with this situation. I am asking God to lead our family in the next steps. Politically we will probably be moving to the Constitution party. We will await a clearer explanation of the facts.
I cannot believe that our President and Governor Bush must bow at the altar of Judge Greer. If this be the case, and if we must be puppets of our crocked judicial system, we are finished as a country. Our courts are corrupt. Surely Jesus will return for His bride soon.
I love all of you Faithful Freepers who have prayed, sang, and shared together in Terri's fight. We certainly do not all agree. That is ok. One thing for sure, I am going to fight on for Terri's cause. My love goes to the Schindlers. Polly
One thing I personally know is I've never been as angry with any person I do not know personally as I am now at M Sciavo. His gratuitous pursuit of this matter and his cruelty to the Schindler family enrages me. His selfish refusal to bow out and give his ex-Wife into the care of her family using the outrageous excuse of his love for her is personally offensive to me in the extreme. Pure scum, deserving of serious repercussions for his behavior IMO.
Another thing that bothers me greatly is the insistence that 'We must obey the Law' and that the process must be upheld for the good of Society.
Horse-Pucky! This whole matter is populated by incestuous relationships between the Judge, Felos, the Sheriff and even Sciavo's girlfriend (Whose mother worked in the Sherriff's Dept for 20 Years). Sciavo himself is employed by the Sheriff's Dept. as a nurse for prisoners I believe. The Hospice Board has all kinds of conflicted relationships as well.
This small town, mutual back scratching justice makes some of the 60's Southern Justice stories seem downright above board in their administration of justice practices.
Bless you for admitting your shame with your stance on this issue.
Funny...the post you are replying to has NO refrence to Nazis in it at all....
'No man doth protest innocence more than the wicked.........'
If the analogy fits....

Amen, SeaBiscuit~~
It's God's Will that is important.
Thy will be done~!!
Not mine, but THY WILL, IN EARTH AND IN HEAVEN.
Remember these names:
"Judge" Greer
Michael Schiavo
Jeb Bush
Terri continues to fight to live.....God will call her home on his terms not on man's.
I would not be so sure about Rush, he trays off the plantation from time to time, I think Rush will be just as upset about this as the rest of us.
Only "Nazi" references on this thread trace to you, f-wad.
Lord, I know from your word
what is right
and how you would have us live,
but so much darkness covers the land,
and as we see evil,
our hearts ache for ways to change darkness into light.
Help us Lord
to listen to you,
to do the right thing,
the thing you want,
even if it's different from what our heart is crying out to do.
Let us do your will,
not ours,
for ours leads down to the valley of death,
and only you hold the keys of life.
Be with all of us
who are aching for Terri,
with her family,
with all who hold your way dear,
and give us your healing, strength and love,
this day,
and always,
in the name of Jesus,
Amen.
I want to thank you and Jim Robinson for keeping not only this thread, but the special "Terri threads" forum...
I also want to thank all that have contributed to the threads by posting their opinions both for and against the wished of Michael Schiavo--
I think that a lot more than whether Terri Schiavo lives or dies is being discussed on many levels, some with anger others with concern and emotion, but I don't think there are many FReepers that would disagree that the underlying issue of judicial acitivism or the right-to-life issues, are important enough that it makes any discomfort we have felt necessary to a certain extent....
I just personally wanted to say this because I value every minute I spend on Free Republic and I respect all that post, even if I don't agree with all opinions...
Happy Easter!
