After much hard work that has gone on for well over a year, it's been a week and 2 days since Terri has been without food and hydration.
Many asking the question how we could have become such a callous society as to deny a helpless human the basic necessity of food and water.
Terri's plight has brought to light many problems in the judicial system and opened our eyes to the fact that some laws need to be changed.
The work will continue to protect helpless individuals from suffering the same injustice as Terri.
this is the BIG question and I have asked it last night and never got a answer yet. ANY lawyers care to shed some light here??Will be gone for a while now. Need to get grandson to school.
The U.S. Senate isn't much better. I really do believe that these people voted in to represent us don't care about us int he least.

Do you really think so? I love the Gipper, but wouldn't his Conservative ideology prevented him from acting as POTUS? As fer his action as Governor, I reckon I'd haveta see how the CA laws read, because I have no reason to believe Reagan wouldda broken any laws in this case.

I have to believe that neither the President nor the Governor of Florida feel very deeply about this issue. If they did, they would be decrying the injustice of it, and how the laws need to be worked to be changed to protect the innocent. Instead, all they're doing is throwing up their hands and saying, "Gee, we sure tried. What's next on the agenda?" What they don't say is screaming so loudly I can't hear what they are saying with their useless words.
I don't know how you can make such an assumption, my FRiend...would Reagan have assumed extra-Constitutional Powers to save Terri's life? I have my doubts...MUD

They are going to vote (12 panel) on whether or not they will give a hearing, if they vote in favor, the tube will be put back in while they have the trial.
They haven't brought up Terri yet in the senate??

Sorry...I'm sounding cynical. My eyes are on the Lord right now. I have absolutely zero faith in "the system" any more.

If they let Terri die while remaining silent now then take up her name as a martyr for political issues when she's gone there will no longer be doubt about their true convictions.

Please continue to keep her healthy...keep her organs functioning, dear Lord! Give her food, give her drink, and keep the vultures from harming her. In Jesus name!
