After much hard work that has gone on for well over a year, it's been a week and 2 days since Terri has been without food and hydration.
Many asking the question how we could have become such a callous society as to deny a helpless human the basic necessity of food and water.
Terri's plight has brought to light many problems in the judicial system and opened our eyes to the fact that some laws need to be changed.
The work will continue to protect helpless individuals from suffering the same injustice as Terri.

No, I agree that they could do more. Much more. This is why I'm puzzled about Jeb's sudden inaction. Why has he stopped fighting for her? I've spent the last two weeks in prayer for Terri. It's all I can do...
A priest, Fr. Gerry Murray of St. Vincent de Paul church in Manhattan, is now a guest on Laura I's show:
Fr. Murray: It's completely unacceptable that a priest is unable to give the Sacrament to Terri.
Orwellian, police standing around keeping a priest away.
Everyone is under suspicion except the lawyer and the husband.
Laura saying some people, Christians, are saying let Terri go.
Fr. Murray: The Commandment, Thou Shalt Not Kill.
The whole society is dragged down.
This is not the will of God, this is the will of an unjust judge, and the husband.
We don't just stand by and watch it happen.
Re: the potential burial, as a sign of respect, the preferred traditional way is burial, not cremation, though it is allowed.
Fr. Murray: hot under collar -- if everyone, Gov. Bush, and all, would come out and say: Let her be buried.
Laura: the ultimate and final insult to the Schindlers.
What should we take from this about our country?
Fr. Murray: the boys are dying in Iraq so a woman can starve in Florida? He gets very upset that people say she is not human anymore. She IS human, until she dies, he says.
There is more in life than what a judge decides.

We keep hearing all the right things from people without power. Those in power are in love with the positions. It's scary to think that these people who are supposed to represent out and protect us are only representing themselves and protecting themselves. The h*ll with the rest of us.

I think the State of FL could make the case that the entire eight year Schiavo/Schindler case has been abusive of Terri, without naming any specific party to the case, and take custody until this is all investigated and unraveled. ???

President Reagan would have stepped in as President, to save one of his fellow Americans. Governor Reagan would have stepped in as Governor, to save one of this fellow Californians.
That's exzactly correct. I was discussing this the other day with another here. This would not have been an issue were Reagan president. He would have never thrown up his hands this way. Since this is only about right vs wrong and good vs evil there would have been no doubt where he stood on the issue. Reagan never reached the point where he had "done all I can do," and certainly not on the matter of life. I miss that kind of leadership very much.

We have some leverage in that regard since the demand was made on Monday, March 28th in a conference with Fla Chair of the House Judiciary Committee.
That was then, this is now. PRAYING.

Having not read a lot of posts on this thread, I take it from your post and a few others that the House and Senate are currently in session blabbering about trivialities?!?
