".......the cops are not working on orders to follow their personal beliefs....."

Well wouldn't it just be interesting if a cop didn't want to kill a fellow cop and decided to take a reprimand rather then commit murder for judge Greer?

Doesn't seem like that big a sacrifice by a moral man to me.

This doesn't look Presidential. If he can't handle a state judge, how is he going to deal with much tougher adversaries like Iran and North Korea.

Good question. Poor Jeb.

What you say is right on the money. If Jeb had done for Terri what every person in the world would have done for their own daughters, then I would be undyingly grateful, too. Jeb doesn't need his job, but the country desperately needs men and leaders willing to be men.

Because the local police DON'T work for him. Their paychecks come from the city, not the state. The hospice is in the city jurisdiction. There is something smelly going on in that city and I think both the state and the feds need to find out what it is.

I think you've jumped a grove there bud. Terry is an innocent non-convicted citizen. Those on death row have been convicted, are not innocent and deserve to die.

Does Terry deserve to die?

I think you're wrong. I think it's exactly what's needed. If these local boys were willing to fire on others to enforce a "kill order" against this woman, I'd be glad to see 'em on the ground.

I am afraid the backlash will swamp the GOP too. To bad cause their are good Republicans in Congress.

It is not credible that a country judge, that Jeb could remove from office in a heartbeat can thwart the President of the USA and the governor of Fla, not credible at all.

I've steer clear of jumping Jeb over this. He's between a rock and a hard place. I think his instincts are good, but his advisors and strategic plan weak.

Carl, maybe you're toooo far North to see it clear. But if he loses here and now, he'll do nothing politically in the future. IMHO.

I have to be honest...I will not donate a cent to the Republicans and I probably will stay home next election. I honestly don't see the difference between the parties or the candidates anymore.

There are some good Republicans in Congress, and they all need to remember that our hard work put them there.

OK, maybe the local police don't "work for him".

But they're still part of the Executive branch of government.

Under the principle of Separation of Powers an official of the Judicial branch has no authority over them.

???

hold your fire there, friend

anger at the situation should not be an opportunity to vent regional bigotry,

i know you are upset, but please direct your anger at more appropriate and more specific targets

no need for apologies, or arguements,

this is a battle with an out of control judiciary,

that is spread throughout our country and is not specific to one region.

It's no use, Lisa. People need a scapegoat, and Jeb Bush has been chosen. He has been one of Terry Schiavo's strongest advocates for years...but nobody cares.

Sorry, but if this story is true, Jeb Bush has officially "gone wobbly." His political career is over. Kaput. Finito. Terminado.

The Largo Police, you got to be kidding me.

Keystone Cops at best, pulezze.

JEB should have pushed them out of the way.

The cops are the betrayers of Christ. Don't anyone tell me it's their job. I know better

STOP THAT!
