A man has been arrested and charged with offering a $250,000 reward for killing Michael Schiavo.
Richard Alan Meywes was arrested in Fairview, North Carolina by the FBI and the Buncombe County Sheriff's Office.
On March 23, the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office forwarded an email to the FBI in Tampa which purportedly offered a $250,000 bounty on "the head of Michael Schiavo." The email placed an additional $50,000 bounty for the elimination of a judge who recently denied a request to intervene in the Schiavo case.

Too bad they can't put a recorder or microphone in her room so they can hear what Michael says to Terri while he's in there for 5 or so hours at a time.

That's almost as interesting as the material behind the following link, although many such pieces have been written by New Age feminists so far. It's really fascinating to see how a once morally true society (17th Century) devolved into paganism. So when will the new colosseums be built?

I'm guessing you aren't in favor of the death penalty for Michael S. either then.....

That is more than obvious at any interview he's ever done. As his wife is dying, he's whining on TV about how can they do this to HIM.I haven't seen him in interview....but it doesn't surprise me. His fiancee' must be dumb-as-a-rock or just as evil... to enable him in all this. Her turn will come too.... she just doesn't realize there aren't any free passes... in a sociopath's world.

I bet that he never again has a normal life. Unless he moves to a remote island.

Yep. He may become incapacitated in a car wreck and unable to effectively communicate. Then, one of his relatives may tell doctors that Michael never wanted to be in that state...Maybe his new wife who just days before was contimplating divorcing him and taking his money will then decied that he wanted to die anyway, and have his feeding tube removed.
One can hope can't he?!

When you cut down all the laws, where will you then find justice in the winds that blow? I'm not in favor of cutting down all the laws, HOWEVER there is a point where to sit by and be ruled by stupid, irrational laws is wrong. My forefathers stood against bad laws and evil governments in every war since the American Revolution. Would you have me do less?

I don't believe the State should kill anyone based on a jury trial. It's not that I have a problem taking a life where there's certainty. Jury trials just don't provide certanty, they are wrong way too often.

I believe pro-life is about abortion. I for instance, and very pro-life. I'm even against the death penalty (has to do with me thinking the courts are corrupt, and nothing to do with killing).
However, if my kids or wife are being threatened, somebody's going to die... And it ain't going to be them.
Pro-life to me is about protecting the Innocent.
Well, I'm thinking about chucking the death penalty too for the same reason. I'm also rethinking various parts of the Patriot Act as well. The courts are corrupt.
I can't blame a parent for taking extreme force if all else fails to protect my little girl/boy. I know Terri is 41, heck I'll be 39, but I'm still "Mom's Little Boy" and will always be. A parent's job and moral duty is to protect their children no matter how old they are and when the children are old enough, they can return that favor. I know if I was Terri's father, I could consider such extreme measures. If I was selected for a jury, I would vote to acquit. I'm trying to avoid the hyper rhetoric here but yes, just like a mother cat who protects her kittens I can see anyone taking such measures.
I think looking back, the parents should have taken her out of the home she was in once Michael Schiavo started all of this. Again, getting to the parental love of it, I would come in the dead of night and take her to a box truck and off to another State or country, where I don't know. Maybe another country, get them away from our Nazis in black robes where "The Man" can't touch her. I'd get help somehow, maybe a private security company, former Special Forces who served in Vietnam, whatever.
I even understand and have empathy on how some Blacks say the justice system is rigged against them. I used to "pooh-pooh" that idea but there are times I wonder if in some cases, they are correct in their assessment.
If we don't do smething quick, after Terri dies, America will die.
