What If They Called 9-1-1
National Review Online ^ | March 24, 2005 | Jack Dunphy

If Terri Schiavo were able, she would go to the nearest telephone, dial 9-1-1, and tell the operator that people are trying to kill her. Police officers would respond, and they would take whatever action was necessary, up to and including laying down their own lives, to ensure that no harm came to this innocent, defenseless woman. If the perpetrators were identified, they would be arrested and prosecuted, perhaps to receive very lengthy sentences in prison. She cannot make that phone call, of course, but those who love her have made it for her, crying out to any and all who might have the authority to stand in the path of what now appears inevitable: the very public starvation and death of Theresa Marie Schindler Schiavo.

How on earth can this be?

As I write

Well the police are there, so the call would be disregarded. Also, Greer said that the cops are not to allow anyone to stop this.

what would happen if FL residents all started calling 911 and alerted them that a disabled woman is being murdered?

Micheal Schiavo is absolutely brilliant.

Yes he is an adulterous sociopath. But he is openly (and completely legally) finally completing his murder of Terri, all before the rapt attention of the entire world.

He is the first cheating husband in history to publicly murder his wife without the slightest risk, and will (finally) inherit the phony malpractice monies he suckered out of the magnificent Florida courts. Not to mention get the proceeds of her life insurance, rumored to be in the seven figures.

"and alerted them that a disabled woman is being murdered?"

They would probably be arrested for filing a false police report, since that is not what's happening.

"rumored"

If there were one word that formed the basis for all the pro-Terri hysteria, it would be this.

riiiiiiiiight. Stopped reading right there, the author is clearly insane if he thinks that's what they always do. Real risk takers those cops.

With your comment about the police being there, did you see the pictures of the police handcuffing and taking away some young teenagers who arrived at the hospice with food and water? I thought that was pretty drastic on part of the police. I mean there was no violence. Anybody else catch that?

What If They Called 9-1-1

John 19:19 And Pilate wrote a title, and put it on the cross. And the writing was, JESUS OF NAZARETH THE KING OF THE JEWS.

Jesus of Nazareth the King of the Jews = 911

I was sickened by the pictures of the children placed in cuffs for trying to give Terri a cup of water.

If someone got Terri a Tek-9 and helped her kill Michael
she would not be allowed to be starved to death.

What If Terri Called 9-1-1

Forget that. What if Terri had a right-to-carry permit and a loaded .45?

[Michael Schiavo] will inherit the phony malpractice monies ... Not to mention get the proceeds of her life insurance, rumored to be in the seven figures.

You're thinking too small. Once Terri dies, Michael's really BIG payoff will be in all the book deals, movie box office royalties, and paid interviews with the likes of Katie Couric, Barbara Walters, and Larry King.

And people still wonder why Michael won't accept the millions donated for him to turn over custody to her parents.

The 911 emergency phone system would probably be tied up...many individuals who need emergency care would die. But it's a price worth paying to prove the sanctity of life. And anyway, being confined to a bed because you're a vegetable has got to be far better than the afterlife.

We killed them in order to save them?

There are several ways to look at it. That would be one.
