That is a bloody image. I saw Zulu...shows how coordinated firepower can be awesome, even with single shot firearms.

Will you people stop predicting that Terri is going to die?

Greer should not be hearing the case now. He is in contempt of Congress. Having said that the only avenue left for Terri is either Jeb or President Bush using their Executive Powers to take custody of Terri. Even if they did this & in the end lose, they did the right thing.

Ah...fishing is good. There is also someting special to be said about a natuaral, high desert, bejeweled with a sparkling lake; Cutthroat trout with a flaming red slash at throat, rising to your bait....
Terri will never experience this...her pleasures are much simpler. I am praying hard and nonstop for her today, and for us all.

Right is right, however you get there.

What you forget is that a large percentage of those old folks have living wills all made out, saying that they don't want their lives maintained by extraordinary measures"
I can assure you, the ones I've worked with have no idea that "extraordinary measures" includes food and water.

You haven't fished until you've caught a big speckled trout at sunrise looking out over water that goes on forever. Much more fun to sneak your way into little back streams and beaverdams that no one else knows about because they're so thickly hidden with alders.

Besides the President and Governor have an army of Christians soldiers and the people (95% Christians) to defend their actions. Very, very few Americans would support the President acting like some banana-republic dictator.

DCF would have to petition a court at some point, but not in order to take protective action. Considering the track record of DCF then I might fear more for the safety of Terri Schiavo in their care than out of it. But be that as it may, I still think that they need a court order to take custody.

A protest in the style of Dr. King or Ghandhi I can go along with as well.
What I am worried about, and what I keep reading about, is a Lenin/Franco/Robespiere style protest.

We are a nation of Checks and Balances...one branch over rides the other....BUT in this case The Executive and Legislative Branch are shouting Save Her!! Is there nothing in our constitution that gives a 2 out of 3 rule?
It seems to me out Justice System needs some major re-modeling.
God Bless Terri Schaivo

What makes anyone think the courts would decide otherwise? the evidence that was not allowed by Greer.

"Or was her time 15 years ago?"
No. That is a silly question. God is sovereign and His will is never thwarted by man. If she was meant to die then, she would have died then.
If she dies now, it was God's timing.

The same DCF that lost little Rilya Wilson? Yeah, kind of insane isn't it? Pairing one tyrannical government organization (DCFS) against another one (judiciary). Never thought I would see a conservative championing tyranny in any form. I know...it doesn't matter...JUST WIN BABY!

The ball is now in Jeb court, let us see if he has the guts and moral decency to do the right thing. I've lost respect for Jeb a couple of days ago. Terri's on day 7 without fluid hydration and nutrition. Jeb should have never allowed it to go this far. Let us see if Jeb's got any character or is he just another gutless weenie.
