You haven't fished until you've caught a big speckled trout at sunrise looking out over water that goes on forever.

Much more fun to sneak your way into little back streams and beaverdams that no one else knows about because they're so thickly hidden with alders.

Some of us just like the ocean. I'm homesick for the coast...now I live in north Utah. I used to live in the Houston area and go fishing in Galveston Bay and nearby parts. I miss it!

But I do like ice fishing. Blows my mind to be on the ice on a pretty day, catching these stupid little perch the size of fish I used to use as bait...but it's fun.
