The Judiciary does not have such powers. They have no power to enforce their judgements.

Correction: Michael Schiavo needs to explain to the world how it is that another woman could give birth to two of his children and he could still maintain the moral ground to represent Terry Schindler/Schiavo as her husband.
To: Miss Behave
Yes, quite a judge, isn't he?
> (why did Judge Greer ingnore this testimony, below?)
This is what Schiavo's ex-girlfriend has stated (under oath) that he said about Terri:
[ex-girlfriend]-"Cindy Shook gave a deposition to the Schindlers in April 2001, in which she stated that when she asked Michael Schiavo about treatment for Terri he responded, "
"How the hell should I know? We never spoke about this. My God, I was only 25 years old. How the hell should I know? We were young. We never spoke of this."

I can't count how many times I've said something to that effect to my wife, and her to me.
Why would you have an opinion in a matter between my wife and I?

Let the poor woman go to meet her maker, at least she'll be in peace.I recall when Jesus taught to feed the hungry and give drink to the thirsty BUT, I missed the commandment to "let the poor woman go to meet her maker"...
Was this be before or after Jesus raised Lazarus from the dead?

"My question too - why does Michael want to cremate Terri against the wishes of her parents absent any evidence that this is what Terri would want? Just to spite the parents or for some other reason?" I'm curious if the Catholic church has a stance on cremation, for or against and autopsy?
Personally, just from my knowledge of this case, I don't see why Michael wouldn't want an autopsy so he can prove that everything he's said is true about Terri's condition and how she got there.

Say we have it in writing regarding our wishes. Any spouse could lose that piece of paper, the hospice could lose it or change the records.
Doesn't look like even a piece of paper will prevent the death dealers from deciding when we die to me.

What there is not is a way for the Executive to simply override a judicial decision. There simply is not. If there were, we would have a different system of government than we have. Our Constitution would no longer apply. If it were possible for the Executive to simply override a judicial decision, then we would have a government similar to Sadam Hussein's Iraq.

He's making the point that Judge Greer seems to be the only person in power in Florida.
And George Felos is pulling his strings. Felos is out there gloating over the fact that Terri is being killed by Greer. It is sickening for me to watch. I don't know how the Schindlers can deal with it without hunting them both down and beating the living crap out of Greer, Felos and Michael!

the pleadings failed to call for an immediate reinsertion of the feeding tube to allow time for a de neuvo review. I also believe he said they failed to specifically request the de neuvo review. Don't know about the pleadings, but have heard the congressional action criticized on those grounds.

I am in deep prayer that the Lord gives Jeb the wisdom of Solomon today.........nothing less will do.
May God sustain His dear child, Terri, and give comfort to her family! May God give Jeb wisdom beyond any human understanding! Hear our prayer, O LORD.

"If it's not in writing, I don't think it should be allowed."The decision whether to continue life support has always been traditionally left to the next of kin (spouses usurp parental roles)...do you want to relegate that decision to the government because of this one case?
This case will serve as fuel for right to life legislation, for that, I will be eternally grateful to Terri Schiavo.
We should work on getting laws enacted making damned sure that no one can ever again be legally denied food and water.
