Tonight it is, March 22, 2005, over five days since Theresa Marie Schiavo commenced her ordeal of purposeful and legally sanctioned dehydration and starvation. We await a decision from the three judge panel from Eleventh Judicial Circuit as to her fate, as her family struggles with seeing Terri's physical health deteriorate.

Another state (Michigan?) is preparing legislation at this very moment that would disqualify a spouse as legal guardian and decision-maker if adultery is proven. Makes perfect sense, as an adulterer would OBVIOUSLY not have his or her spouse's best interest at heart! (One of those "Duh!" issues that legislators are only now taking into consideration.)

We could probably draw up lengthy lists of "Duh!" issues that currently are not addressed in guardian issues, and strengthen wording in laws already on the books to further protect the incapacitated and disabled from abuse.

For a little eye-opening reading this morning, take a gander at this compilation of tricks being used, legally, by guardians raiding their wards' trust funds: "Dirty Tricks of Guardianships ‚ The Need for Change" by Robert W. Melton, Chief Auditor, Clerk of the Circuit Court, Pinellas County.

They also allowed hearsay evidence to be used by the courts to determine this right before MS began his seriousl litigation...which may have been the reason he began doing this in the first place. I have seen the code, but I don't remember where or how to reference it.

And the US Supreme Court will quickly deny the appeal, as they have done in the past. The judicial system failed Terri and her family.

Last Sunday in church, the pastor asks the congregation if they have any special verses that help them get through tough times, etc...

Exodus 14:14-31,15:1 seem appropriate here. Unfortunately, we're sorta stuck on 14:17 right now, but the "Egyptians" are going to discover that their mad pursuit of the "Israelites" wasn't such a good idea.

Terri is the poster girl of the failed American judiciary. DeLay had better impeach those four federal judges, or his authority will be so minor that he will become a laughingstock in Washington himself. Already, the poular liberal Austin D.A. has DeLay in his bullseye.

I have sent emails to all posted addresses and those I can think of. I am heart sick. Not one person in government would save her. All would allow a disabled individual to be killed by starvation and dehydration. We wouldn't allow it to happen to a dog but we will Terri Schiavo? It is sickening.

I've been praying fervently since then that Terri would feel God's presence, and the prayers of His people, that she has not been abandoned, and that we are intervening to the Lord on her behalf.
