Tonight it is, March 22, 2005, over five days since Theresa Marie Schiavo commenced her ordeal of purposeful and legally sanctioned dehydration and starvation. We await a decision from the three judge panel from Eleventh Judicial Circuit as to her fate, as her family struggles with seeing Terri's physical health deteriorate.

I know, it's hard to know what to say anymore. I just keep repeating the same prayers and hanging on to hope.

Maybe it's time to just be still and know that he's God.

I think you're right about twice USSC has turned down. Perhaps since the source and language might be different this time they'll hear it, if they have to go to them again.

That alone should get Greer impeached, better yet jail.

Maybe the Supreme Court will hear the case this time, after all Sean's guests told the true story on his show, et al. Sean's a good guy.

Is it true that a couple of days ago, 3 Florida senators were need to pass SB 2128, and now there is only 1?

Maybe Florida will come through?

Stat strong Terri.

Pray for Terri.

" A revolt/civil war is coming. Get Ready...it's us against them. It's here. Are you ready?"

D@mn right it's coming. D@mn right I'm ready. I fear soon it will be no way around it.

That "Ft. Sumpter Moment" has just gotten closer. A lot closer.

It might be God's judgement of the nation.

"The US Supreme Court refused to hear the case twice. They'll refuse this time also."

I've had trouble finding the individual Supreme Court Justices. I think NOW is the time to bombard them with our thoughts so that if it gets to them they might consider it.

Anyone have the addresses at your fingertips? Thanks. Mine are too busy wiping away tears.

Judge Greer ordered that Terri be cremated and her ashes be taken to Pennsylvania.

Terri's family can't even have a Christian funeral and burial for Terri.

This is cruel, barbaric, inhumane, and sick.

A well-reasoned dissent ups the chances for reversal - either en banc or by the US Supremes.

This is true and after the en banc we may either have a ruling in our favor or even more dessents that will up our ante...

I knew you were still there. You mean 3:35 a.m., I'm guessing. You must be exhausted, but we have been praying, praying and praying while you've been gone. And we will contine.

God bless and take care, FV.

Do you know the political makeup of the three-judge panel that just ruled?

"The US Supreme Court refused to hear the case twice. They'll refuse this time also."

They only refused the first time because they had no jurisdiction, it was before the new bill was passed, they may hear it now...and i stress MAY

The Florida legislature will vote on the "Terri Bill" later today. It will fail in the senate. Even if the bill passes, it goes straight to Judge George Greer's court.

God's got a plan He's just not telling us. But we have to keep praying. I believe prayer gives angels power because of the verse "what's bound on earth is bound in Heaven"

"Frist and DeLay earnestly tried what they could get passed in time to do any good at all."

Yeah. And I've got some prime real estate in the everglades you might be interested in.

They knew EXACTLY what they were doing, and they weren't earnest in the least.

Here is a quote from congress. Despite what the minority democrats might want, there is no doubt that Frist understood what this exchange meant.

"Mr. FRIST. I would be pleased to help clarify this issue.
Mr. LEVIN. Section 5 of the original version of the Martinez bill
conferred jurisdiction on a Federal court to hear a case like this, and
then stated that the Federal court "shall" issue a stay of State court
proceedings pending determination of the Federal case. I was opposed
to that provision because I believe Congress should not mandate that a
Federal judge issue a stay. Under longstanding law and practice, the
decision to issue a stay is a matter of discretion for the Federal judge
based on the facts of the case. The majority leader and the other bill
sponsors accepted my suggestion that the word "shall" in section 5 be
changed to "may."
The version of the bill we are now considering strikes section 5
altogether. Although nothing in the text of the new bill mandates a
stay, the omission of this section, which in the earlier Senate-passed
bill made a stay permissive, might be read to mean that Congress
intends to mandate a stay. I believe that reading is incorrect. The
absence of any state [sic] provision in the new bill simply means that
Congress relies on current law. Under current law, a judge may decide
whether or not a stay is appropriate.
Does the majority leader share my understanding of the bill?
Mr. FRIST. I share the understanding of the Senator from Michigan,
as does the junior Senator from Florida who is the chief sponsor of this
bill. Nothing in the current bill or its legislative history mandates a
stay. I would assume, however, the Federal court would grant a stay
based on the facts of this case because Mrs. Schiavo would need to be
alive in order for the court to make its determination. Nevertheless,
this bill does not change current law under which a stay is
discretionary.
Mr. LEVIN. In light of that assurance, I do not object to the
unanimous consent agreement under which the bill will be considered
by the Senate. I do not make the same assumption as the majority
leader makes about what a Federal court will do. Because the
discretion of the Federal court is left unrestricted in this bill, I will not
exercise my right to block its consideration."

I had goosebumps too while I was typing it. I just felt like I had to do it, and had to do it tonight.

I was going to do another one about the best secretary I ever had, but since the news, I can't do anything but pray, shake, and feel hot anger rising.

Governor Jeb Bush and President Bush will turn their backs on Terri and let her die this cruel death. Both men could have taken Terri into protective custody much sooner but they chose not to.
