Tonight it is, March 22, 2005, over five days since Theresa Marie Schiavo commenced her ordeal of purposeful and legally sanctioned dehydration and starvation. We await a decision from the three judge panel from Eleventh Judicial Circuit as to her fate, as her family struggles with seeing Terri's physical health deteriorate.
His agenda is obvious. Ask a question then give your answer when you don't like theirs. Too many have been playing that game for it to last very long. This thread is for Terri supporters and info, not gamers. I'm glad you approved. :)

The FL Bar rules severly neuter what a judge can and can not say in the election campaign. They can basically only say "I will be fair".
There are also campaign managers who help guide serious candidates (see lawyers with money) through the process of becoming elected.
Also, for those who don't know, judicial races in FL are "nonpartisan" so you never know who is affiliated with what party. You could have three candidates and all are democrats.

I didn't notice Christopher Reeves wanting to die or Stephen Hawkins. Reeves is dead but Hawkins isn't asking to die yet.
Do you know which company &/or Dr's placed the electrodes in her brain? What's their history?

I didn't notice any "kill him" posts either.
It would be a difficult decision. My mothers living will/medical directive has a full paragraph on how she understands the burden I wouold face regarding care and life support and how the document is designed to alleviate the burden of what the decisions should be. Her wishes are VERY specific, what antibiotics to use, when to use a ventilator, how long to be on a ventilator, specific measures that can and cannot be used, even who can visit her in the hospital. I was suprised at how specific it was. I also have full medical power of attorney should anything come up not covered, but I would be suprised if it did, the document is several pages and covers everything from alzhiemers to car accident.
It was a little morbid for me to read, but it is also comforting to know she thought it out and is very specific as to what she wants.
Do you think Michael and Jodi's wedding "vows" will include 'Until death do us part' and 'in sickness and in health?'
Or will they be something along these lines...
"I Michael take thee Jodi to be my unlawfully wedded "wife."

Johnathan Turley: ...because the NEXT step could be asking the ENTIRE 11th circuit, so called En Banc, all of the judges to rule, and to also look again at whether the feeding tube should be re-instated.
To the legal eagles here,,, we heard some cryptic results 3 hours ago from the court website. Could the En Banc be what is happening since then?
I would think the 3 panel would give their ruling and then yet another appeal would be made and to the En Banc for yet another ruling

I read a report by an radiologist on a CSI weblog who looked at her scan or whatever and who doesn't think they are electodes but shunts to relieve pressure. And that the pressure is caused from blood due to an injury to the outside of the head such as being hit in the head.
