....sure would like to know where those polls were taken...perhaps Massachusetts and New York? Don't believe the polls....look at what the Polls said about Kerry being elected president.

Will the 11th Circuit wait until 3 PM to hear the case, like the judge yesterday that issued that terrible ruling? To show the independence of the judiciary from that cowboy Prez and his rough rider Congress? (/sarcasm)

What the heck is wrong with these judges?
I think part of the problem is these judges can't see the forest for the rigidity of the trees. By this, I mean that common sense can't seem to prevail or be introduced in any form because of the rigidity of the legal system. This rigidity normally provides protection, but when a failure in the system happens as it has here for Terri, the system seems to be too paralyzed by structure to correct the problem. So everybody ends up standing by frustratingly helpless to change things. We have got to have a way to cut through the crap of red tape when such a systemic failure of the system occurs.

Good point, but I thought those Internet polls locked one out after he voted.
Still, the people just aren't concerned about poor Terri. If she were glamorous and popular, it might be another story.

I agree. I have just been reading about the Pope being ill again. This is just too much in one day! Prayers for the Holy Father and for Terri Shiavo!

bump to what you said - and to yor willingness to bear the flames for those that are convinced this is all a right to die plot and the husband tried to kill his wife and the court system is trying to help him cover up the evidence crowd.

He'll probably make up his mind 4 days from now when she is surely dead. He'll want to "appear" to be weighing this decision. This is a sham.

"Can the Pope annul this marriage?"
I suppose he could, but to what effect? What the Pope does has no legal relevance in any state in this country. Marriages cannot be disolved by religious organizations...only in court.

Me too. Ever since Friday I've been half sick. It just gets worse every day. And there's no way I can try to just ignore the situation. It's like mass torture is taking place.

Yes, the Pope has no legal authority in the USA. Remember how JFK went out of his way to say that he would not pay attention to the Pope.

Just a thought:
Why not have the attorney general charge the husband, the doctors and the judge with VIOLATING TERRI'S FEDERAL CIVIL RIGHTS!
The federal civil rights statutes have been a way around double jeopardy in the past. When a person beat a murder rap in state courts, they could be charged with violating the person's civil right to live in federal courts. That is the basis of having the statute. Someone explain to me why any of these characters can't be charged under the federal statute.

From RightMarch.com
We need EVERYONE READING THIS EMAIL to call the following Florida state Senators RIGHT AWAY, and ask them to do one simple thing: "HAVE MERCY ON TERRI SCHIAVO -- PLEASE VOTE TO SAVE TERRI'S LIFE TODAY."
That's all we're asking you to do. Just call ten state Senators -- or as many as you can -- and ask them to have mercy on Terri. TAKE ACTION: Call these ten Senators NOW:
Larcenia J. Bullard 850-487-5127
Walter Campbell, Jr. 850-487-5094
J.D. Alexander 850-487-5044
Nancy Argenziano 850-487-5017
Paula Dockery 850-487-5040
Lisa Carlton 850-487-5081
Evelyn J. Lynn 850-487-5033
Burt L. Saunders 850-487-5124
Michael Bennett 850-487-5078
Dennis Jones 850-487-5065
Dr. Dobson is emphasizing the importance of contacting senators Alexander, Argenziano, Dockery, Carlton, Lynn and Saunders.
Come on Freepers! Don't forget Prov. 24:11-12: Deliver those who are drawn toward death, and hold back those stumbling to the slaughter. If you say "surely we did not know of this", doesn't He who weighs the hearts consider it? He who keeps your soul, does He not know it? And will He not render to each man according to his deeds?

"deliberately delayed 24 hours "
exactly what I told my daughter this morning -- he put Terri 24 hours closer to death
President Bush and Chief Justice Renquist put themselves into position to act 24/7, and this judge runs out the clock. He must be suffering from "March Madness." He likely would have delayed til she died, if he thought he could somehow make it look reasonable.
