per Fox
I think it has more to do with ramifications to the abortion rights argument. If the Dems acknowledge the right to life of invalids, they open the door to the right to life of the unborn. That is why they are once again digging in for Satan.
It is my understanding that Michael Schiavo claims to be a Catholic. I do not know whether he is communicant in the eyes of the Catholic Church.
I agree with you, Wallace.
Where is the outrage other than here at FR?!
If I wasn't tied to home with family member medical issues, I would be outside the hospice.
Why aren't more folks there? I don't understand it...Are they waiting for a signal that Terri is truly at death's door?
They can only review the facts as they exist in the trial records. Don't waste my time. They cannot order the production of new evidence.
That's is why Congress asked for a hearing de novo or did you miss that part?
Hey, that's unfair. You have a life? I want one too. I'm gonna sue!
God Bless you and your family, and everyone (both sides) on these and all THREADS on FR.
You could be right. I do know, however, that Terri had to get a dispensation to have a wedding Mass as the Church normally does not allow a Mass when one of the couple is not Catholic.
Excellent post right to the core.
It does when the patient dies, unless you have one of the really GOOD scams going.
I heard it too, extremely revealing., Excellent first hand source of Michael's wishes to kill his Terri. (Almost said wife, but that wouldn't be accurate IMHO)
You are right there.
Ethics don't seem to be in Greer's vocabulary.
He has entertained questions from journalists in his chambers after hearings,,for example.
And it would seem that he was present at the Federal court yesterday, which would be unprecedented.
NO, MRS is nominally Lutheran. He acts more in line with Scientology in regard to his disdain for the disabled.
George W. Greer withdrew from the Baptist Church just prior to March 18. Greer's pastor did rebuke him.
Well, it's hard to imagine a federal court not doing what it wants despite whether it has the legal power to do so or not. But, perhaps they don't have the power. If so, why such a long session? And I wouldn't trust much from Napolitano, one of many reasons I don't watch Fox. But of course he may be right on this point.
Am I seeing Terri's sinuses at the top of her image or something?
How old is the person in the other scan?
With all due respect, I see it as my and every other Christians' responsibility to question people who speak such nonesense. Fact, we do not know whether or not Terri Schiavo said what her husband is claiming. Fact, the man waited five years, then had an epiphany after winning a malpractice suit that his wife did not want to be kept alive in this stuation. Fact there are at least two signed affidavits from nurses that heard this man screaming at his wife, "Why don't you just die b***". It must be nice to feel that you can take such a cavalier attitude toward the sanctity of someone's life. Unborn children are unable to speak for themselves, and their mothers are their legal guardians, does that make abortion right in your eyes? When does it stop christian? My definition of being a Christian is attempting to be Christ-like. Would Christ starve this woman in this case? Yes, I will question your christianity when it is so clearly out of line with the teachings of the bible.
Is it not at least plausible that this man is lying for his own benefit? If you answer yes to that question you cannot ethically allow this woman to die.
Five years ago to the date that he first pronounced a death sentence on Terri Schiavo, Sixth Circuit Court Judge George W. Greer of Pinellas County, Florida, re-enforced his death edict.
Greer denied Friday the latest efforts by her parents to void his Feb. 11, 2000 order to withdraw the feeding tube that provides her with food and water as demanded by the estranged husband and guardian, Michael Schiavo, saying that her due process rights had not been violated because she was not entitled to independent legal counsel.
He also ruled that he could continue in the dual role of judge and guardian ad litem.
True, the easy course of action is the one most choose. We know how church leaders fear the IRS. I would imagine that they also fear popular judges like George W. Greer.
Felos is going to make a statement soon....according to CNN
"That nurse is on Hannity right now, her testimony is very powerful, as this is played out on the MSm, the murderous conspirators fate will be sealed. Nobody will believe Schiavo anymore. "
The sad thing is, the MSM won't report it. Not a word. Just more BS about how the woman is "brain dead" and 99.99% of the American Public believes she should be starved to death no matter what.
What a distressing week - to see such evil triumph (or well on the way to it). I guess I no longer had any doubt about how low RATS can sink - but I don't know how people on MY side (i.e., here on FR - and I DON'T mean you, northernlightsII) can sit back and watch a fellow human being being tortured and starved to death by Judicial fiat without being sickened by it.
I have no respect for judges, after this. None. Evidently their belief in their own power has grown unchecked to the point where they consider themselves Gods. Even the "supreme court" has grown into a sickening bunch of wimps, too afraid to take on ANYTHING controversial. If the entire force of our government is useless in preventing the torture and "official murder" of an innocent citizen, who needs any of them?
