It's not one of my areas of knowledge. It is fairly obvious that it is an image of a severly damaged brain, however. I have enough knowledge to recognize that, at least.
Yes, it does appear that there is some remaining cortical tissue, but not much. This is a badly damaged brain. The level of the image is pretty unimportant here.

They tried to have it put forward 2 yrs ago but your sadist judge did not put it in. I understand other nurses have filed affidavits,so unlike you they seemed to be willing to stand behind their words.

Perhaps, and perhaps not. It depends on the rest of the patient evaluation. It's clear that there's extensive damage from this slice of the CAT scan.
Based on other diagnostic information, it might not be necessary to go further.
I'm not a doctor, so I can't be more definitive. I just wanted people to see a picture of Terri's brain. It's not a pretty sight.
The court stated on page nine that this was not a de novo review, and upon reading the entire ruling, it became evident that it was the guardianship court that actually reviewed the evidence requested in the appeal. The presiding judge was Greer in the guardianship court. Therefore, the appellate court DID NOT review any new evidence, but left it up to Greer. They did not see or hear any of the evidence that Greer did not allow. You contention is wrong.

Connor said Michael Schiavo "acknowledged and recognized" he had conflicts of interests that made make him unsuitable to serve as Terri's guardian: He stood to gain financially from her death, and was living with another woman whom he planned to marry once his wife was dead [there are currently two children from this illegal liaison].
Greer recognized these conflicts, ruling that neither Schiavo nor the Schindlers were in a position to represent her interests. But rather than appoint a guardian ad litem, he assumed that role himself, in apparent contradiction of a state statute.
"Florida law prohibits a trial judge from serving as a guardian," Connor declared. "You can't wind up being both an advocate for one of the litigants and an adjudicator of the rights of the litigant and in fact that's exactly what happened here.
