Are you saying that as a husband and wife are not a family? Read all the posts here, and not just the few you agree with.

Your post is completely contradicted by footage and commentary in the media just in the last week. And it sounds as if these professionals who submitted affidavits were denied direct access to the patient by the husband. I don't know that for fact, but it appears to be the case based on what I have seen just in the last week. I can only make my own judgemnet based on what I see, hear, and believe to be moral.

blonde: The facts of the case are reported in the judicial opinions....not the internet or TV. I do know the facts...do you?

Excellent point. I even agree that that could be a problem.

However there is a process that has to be followed to resolve these matters. That process has been followed in this case. And absent enough proof to the contrary, the spouse (if they are around) should make that decision. He is around and despite what people want to think of him, the courts have maintained his rights as guardian.

The rights of the married couple should not be thrown aside without ample reason, and aside from accusations, no sufficient reason has been found to do so in this case.

Yes.

Any comments regarding my love for my children, or how unlucky they are to have me for a parent will be ignored. So don't bother.

Thank you for a brilliant summation of this case.
It seems so easy to understand, yet so many here fail in grasping that simple set of facts.
It would seem we have a lot of brain impaired people roaming around,I hope for their sake they don't live in Florida and speak in low voices most of the time so as not to be overheard.

Yes, and guess who fought to get it????? Felos...AND, as soon as it was passed....he and Schiavo filed the petition to starve Terri.

That's because Terri was his TEST CASE.

Felos had successfully arranged for some of 'his' doctors to evaluate over 150 patients as TERMINALLY ILL. He had them moved to the Suncoast Death Clinic and submitted claims to Medicare.

Some of the relatives had gotten second opinions and it turned out none of these patients was terminally ill. It was just a SCAM that allowed FELOS and the HOSPICE to rake in over $14 MILLION. The Dept. of Health and Human Services filed notice for return of the false Medicare claims and FELOS has filed appeals to keep it out of court until after the TERRI SCHIAVO situation is over so he won't get bad press.

FELOS was having OLD FOLKS killed so he could profit, but it wasn't enough.

He wanted to be able to KILL people of ANY AGE if he could find a reason.

Michael had taken Terri to California for some experimental Treatments.

Not of his own accord, but at the behest of her parents, and if he refused, he would look bad, so he did.

As soon as he could, he declared the whole thing a failure and took Terri back to Florida.

FELOS heard of the case through the news and saw his Hopes become reality. Here was a perfect case. Greer recommended FELOS to Michael, and the whole thing has been one BIG CIRCLE JERK with MICHAEL,FELOS, and GREER ever since.

And absent enough proof to the contrary...

That's the problem, isn't it? The process to this point won't hear any evidence to the contrary. The judges are only ruling on procedure in the original case, which this Greer character stacked in HINO's favor.

You imposed. "May I impose, please. I believe you have no idea what you are talking about and just making things up and cannot be trusted. So may I impose upon you for some proof. Nice of you! Pleae."

An executive order applies only to the executive branch

An Executive Order would be a decree in another country. It can be applied to anything the President desires. Yes, under are system there are checks & balances & the US Supreme Court can overturn an Executive Order. Then Congress can then overturn the US Supreme Court.

"The rights of the married couple should not be thrown aside without ample reason"

That gives the HINO ample reason to enter into an audulterous relationship with another woman while simultaneously trumping up evidence to off his sick wife?

Could this appeals court issue an order that the tubes be reinserted while they rule on the appeal?

How can anyone claim someone is terminally ill when they are not brain dead, just brain damaged?

Your post is completely contradicted by footage and commentary in the media just in the last week.

Then the commentary is wrong. The post comes from a medical doctor familiar with PVS. He saw ALL of the videotapes, not just the short MainStream Media clips that show Terri apparently looking at someone. There's a lot of misinformation being spread around, so it's a good thing to go by the facts rather than what the media feeds us.

First, you say I demanded. Now you say I imposed. Well, the person to whom I addressed my question was kind enough to answer me. Not with a link, but with enough information to help me look it up for myself.

Don't assume.

would love to see the President deliver the following statement later today:

"Good afternoon, my fellow Americans. On Monday shortly after midnight, the Congress of the United States passed a bill to protect the life of a disabled woman, Terri Schiavo. I signed that bill into law at 1:30 in the morning. This law was intended to obtain for Terri a new trial in federal court, with a fresh review of all the evidence pertaining to her wishes.

This morning, a federal judge in Florida ruled against Terri and refused to reinsert her feeding tube. He completely ignored the intent of the law, and also assumed in his ruling that the trial judge's findings were the final word in the matter.

He had no right to do this. The law expressly stated that the trial judge's findings were not to be determinative.

As a result, Terri's life continues to be in mortal danger.

I took an oath to faithfully execute my office as President, and that includes enforcing the laws of the United States.

Therefore, under the authority vested in me under Article II, Section 3 of the United States Constitution, I am issuing an Executive Order, effective immediately, to take Mrs. Theresa Schiavo into federal protective custody, remove her from the hospice, and take her to Walter Reed Army Hospital, where she will be re-hydrated under doctors' supervision, and have her feeding tube reinserted. She will remain at the hospital, and enjoy any and all medical care to preserve her life and health during the course of any further proceedings in this matter.

This Order shall remain in effect until further notice.

Thank you, and God bless and protect Terri Schiavo and the United States of America.

WELL SAID!!!!!
