I'm sorry you can't change your mind. If you ever once made a statement you must follow through with it until the day you perish the earth. :)
To: ContraryMary
So you're saying she's out of options past SCOTUS? That makes sense, because Clinton could have issued an executive order declaring Al Gore president in the 2000 election after SCOTUS ruled, if that's the case.

He has no legal authority to do this.

Your non-answer is noted. I won't 'hound' you anymore. The pharisees made similar legal arguments to Jesus, right before they crucified Him. Only afterward did most realize their error.

..."if I ever go like that just let me go. Don't leave me there. I don't want to be kept alive on a machine."
I can't believe Greer gave any consideration to accepting this as evidence to her wishes as it relates to her current condition. "Machine" being the operative word, for may anyway. She is not living off of machines.

If Terri said this, she meant as an old personDid Terri tell you this? If so, you should tell the court right away.
What you have just done is called "speculation," and it is not permitted as evidence in a court of law.
To: Rutles4Ever
So you're saying she's out of options past SCOTUS? Well, I read another thread that Jeb is trying to get a law passed in Florida to replace Michael as guardian. Don't know if it's likely to go anywhere, though.
To: Boardwalk
And, if said statement hurries me to perish from this earth? :))))

"Mostly Repub nominations."
Exactly. Of the 12 active judges (Senior Judges do not vote when the circuit meets en banc), only 1 was a Carter nominee and 4 were Clinton nominees, so 7 of the 12 were nominated by either Ford, Reagan, Bush 41 or Bush 43. Remember, judges nominated and confirmed in 1992 were nominated by George H.W. Bush, since Clinton didn't take office until January of 1993.

(quoting Terri Schiavo) "I don't want to be kept alive on a machine." Very interesting. You see, medical decisions are tough. I am confident that Terri's sitiuation is different from the situation she witnessed with her grandmother. Her grandmother was on a machine. Terri is not. So, she is not in a situation like her grandmother. While her comment, if accurate, is interesting, it shouldn't be taken as determinative of her wishes regarding sustenance and hydration.

Put in writing and fax it to the Gov. I am leaving so people don't say I am from the new nazi party of amerika.

The HINO's testimony that Terri would want to die is speculation!

A lot of good Americans paid the ultimate price to oppose Hitler's vision for the world. It defiles their memory to surrender peacefully to Hitler's forces, by permitting this atrocity under cover of law. Such law should be opposed and broken, not respected and upheld.
