"When Is That Bitch Gonna Die?" - Micheal Schiavo
BlueStarBase.org ^ | 3-21-2005 | Barbara Stanley

Posted on 03/21/2005 7:50:03 AM PST by Pendragon_6

Lets see, first Michael Schiavo beats and strangles his wife Terri, leaves her lying unconscious on the floor until her family arrives to get her to the hospital.

Then Michael Schiavo sues the hospital for $20 million because he needs the money to get his poor wife therapy.

Then Michael Schiavo pockets the money, denies his wife the care he said she needed and finally, claims she really wants to die.

Michael Schiavo killed his wife Terri's cat, melted down her wedding ring and then took up with his girlfriend and lives with her today with their children. Does this sound like a loving husband who really cares about his wife's wishes?

And what do we get on the tube every hour on the hour: “persistent vegetative state” as though any of the talking heads who ghoulishly proclaim Terri's life isn't worth that of a convicted serial killer sitting on death row (for 20 years, while due process goes on).

Michael Schiavo's supporters claim he loved his wife Terri enough to take a nursing degree so that he could take care of her. I think he got that nursing degree so he could inject her with insulin and hasten her death and his complete claim to all the money he won in litigation.

Just take a gander at the sworn testimony of an attending nurse: Carla Sauer Iyer (affidavit* below) but let me save you some time and report a quote of Michael Schiavo's after visiting his still living wife: "When is that bitch gonna die?"

Hmmm. Loving husband or man so afraid of not only not getting the money (what's left of the $20 million) but the prospect of facing a jury for his attempted murder, a charge which is possible as long as Terri lives. Sounds like motive to me.

Michael Schiavo says Terri said she never wanted to be kept alive on machines. Okay. Even if that was her statement (which there is absolutely no corroborating testimony and quite the unusual statement coming from a young, newly married woman still in her twenties and full of life); Terri is not being kept alive by machines!

Terri has a feeding tube from which she gets food and water. Had she had the care and therapy she was entitled to, there is every chance today Terri would be divorced from that louse and feeding herself just fine.

About that “loving husband” crapola: what husband do you know evinces his marital fidelity and love by living with another woman, having children with that woman and dumps his wife in a hospice while waiting for her to die? What loving husband kills his sick wife's pet? What loving husband denies his wife's family visitation?

I ask these questions because the media morons are still stuck with their new term: “persistent vegetative state” and are oblivious to the actual facts of this tragic case.

Well said. I'd hate to lose my child like that and I hope that I have the guts to do the right thing. I know one thing, I would HATE to live my life out like she has.

Wow, what an ordeal. Was your child brain dead? I took the other tact. We discontinued our son's life support. If there was a one percent chance of my son recovering, I would have held out. There was no hope in my case.

I your second son's case, the problem was that his lungs and other essential organs were not developed enough. I know there also was a chance that he would develop major medical problems. If I was in your place, I would have taken the route you did. Because, there was a good chance he would come out of this ok. In Terri's case, she will never be the person she was. The part of the brain that makes her who she was, is gone. There is nothing there. The only thing keeping her alive is her brain stem, and that part of the brain is always the last to go, unless it was damaged to begin with. Anyway, that is my humble opinion.

God Bless you. How is your son?

And the only perfect person to live on this Earth was Jesus. We all commit sins. Perhaps I am speaking with the second perfect person?

Yes, I agree that the state and local church should do as you say. But I'm not going to question his standing with God, like you do. It's not my place to judge such things.

Of course. but that isn't the point. Divorce is still considered an excommunicable offence whereas living together isn't. What option must a faithful Catholic choose?

Under Common Law.

Am I typing in Swahili or what?

Florida does not recognize common law unions so, under the flipping LAW, he is STILL married to Terry. Is this a hard concept to grasp or what?

She would be dead already, if not for keeping her alive by artificial means via feeding tube.

Agreed. All designed to whip hysteria and opposition to her. Those "Christians" who have made such unwarranted claims and/or repeated them should be ashamed.

Everybody knows that. Doesn't change the fact he has a wife and children.

if he were a faithful catholic he would have consulted the church before doing what he did.
were you schtooping your new wife before your first died?
is that why you identify with him?
did you have a next day cremation also?

Feeding tubes and such are removed from people everyday in hospitals all over this country.

Sorry, I disagree. My wife and I both agreed not to let the other suffer by prolonging our lives when faced with hopeless recovery. I fulfilled that agreement by signing a DNR order and when I insisted she not be revived when she died despite my in-laws were demanding it. To this day, they still hate me and blame me for her death even though cervical cancer isn't my fault.

I also heard that he wants her body cremated IMMEDIATELY.
Sounds like a paranoid individual to me.

That's tortuous reasoning, Edward. But your facts are also wrong: ...this is why every single court-appointed observer of Terri have all agreed she is in a PVS.

That is only true with the qualification "court-appointed". The court has consistently taken a pro-death position, even removing a guardian ad litem who complained that MS was acting unreasonably (and appointed Greer as both judge and guardian!). Weldon, the Republican congressman who is a physician has stated that a neurologist has told him that he doubts that Teri is in a PVS.

Okay.

I'll make this easy.

She is NOT his wife under STATE LAW! Period. No quibbling.

A small fact is that he left Terry (6) six years into her coma to be with another person is little reported. Even widows and widowers remarry.

The guy got ON with his life after something crappy happened to him and his wife. Too bad her parents can't.

cervical cancer usually is caused by venereal spread of human pappiloma virus

>"...what option does a young Catholic have in Michael's case?..."
"After all, according to Catholic dogma, divorce is an excommunicable offense..."

I'm amused that you are defending Micheal Schiavo as a good little Catholic. Are you aware of what the Catholic Medical Association President- Dr.Robert J. Saxer, M.D. has said about this case?

"The withdrawal of nutrition and hydration from Mrs. Terri Schiavo will result in her death.

The tube feeding itself does not impose an excessive burden on the patient. Discontinuing nutrition and hydration in this circumstance violates in its intention the distinction between "causing death" and "allowing death." (Catholic Medical Assoc. Bioethical Principles of Medical Practice #9)

Therefore, in view of these teachings and directives, we must conclude that at this time the withdrawal of nutrition and hydration from Mrs. Terry Schiavo cannot be justified by currently promulgated Catholic moral principles."

-Robert J. Saxer, M.D.
President, Catholic Medical Association

Are you aware of what the Catholic church says about cremating someone wthout first having a funeral for them? That is Mr. Schiavo's stated intention for Terry Schiavo.

You can defend this guy all you want, but you should probably stop defending him as a good little Catholic boy, who merely doesn't want to be excommunicated for divorcing his wife, while he lives with another.

We had our father cremated immediately WITHOUT an autopsy after I found him dead. The police said there was no evidence of foul play. If Michael had beaten her, it would have shown and he'd be IN JAIL! So, your point?
