President's Statement on Terri Schiavo
The White House ^

The case of Terri Schiavo raises complex issues. Yet in instances like this one, where there are serious questions and substantial doubts, our society, our laws, and our courts should have a presumption in favor of life. Those who live at the mercy of others deserve our special care and concern. It should be our goal as a nation to build a culture of life, where all Americans are valued, welcomed, and protected - and that culture of life must extend to individuals with disabilities.

I do agree with you on this. However judge greer has taken it upon himself to be the judge, jury, and executioner in this case. He has violated the 14th Amendment and in doing so has made this a federal issue now. see post #569. judge greer also has issued a death sentence to this woman in which it is even against the law to do to a dog or cat, let alone a person.

Many ppl don't understand that the 14th Amendment applies the equal protection of the Constitution and Bill of Rights to the States, also..

So [you're] against civil and proper discourse, and the call for it?????
Even mentioning their ideologue-addled website and its unhappy, bitter denizens is not proper discourse. Your "cautions" are only feeding their hungry, over-valued, self-important, and bloated egos.

if you and others don't post on FR, what is left..? Well, since he's never had an original thought on his own, and since the Toad wouldn't have anything to copy and paste, one can assume that LP would cease to exist.

I must be mistaken, but it surely looks like this one is trying to censor this web site.

CJ,
One should be able to talk about anyplace in a civil tone, for that is what Freedom of Expression is all about. As for your part on "their hungry, over-valued, self-important, and bloated egos", I could care less, for I am not addressing them. (I've done that in the past on this same issue)

Considering the atrosity being carried out in Florida today, I was expecting to hear: "Ole! Ole! Ole!" from you.??? What sort of brain fart gave you that idea? A find-in-forum isn't that hard to do if my posts on this thread don't make my position clear.

I have to admit, if you add the "biker bar" to your post.. that's down right funny!
To: Refinersfire
You mean because it's so sad it's funny?
BTW, he thinks you're doing a GREAT job of slamming us on this thread.
He's cheering you on.

...and quite disqusted with seeing Freepers threatening to turn it into a political issue. *That* is repulsive and in my opinion, *insane*. When a state court violates the State Constitution and the federal Constitution in its rulings it becomes a political issue whether FReepers get involved or not.

Why don't you answer the question, ramsbottom? Like little boys? Your homepage is questionable. You bastard, how dare you blow my cover? No one was supposed to know that ... just like no one was supposed to know that ALUCARD is DRACULA spelled backwards.

Or we could proceed with the following type comments;

Those that post there from here are falling into the anti-freeper trap. Best to get away from there and let the anti's discuss their sickness with each other, anyways most of their threads have 0 comments unless it has to do with FR if that tells you something. The LP site is a failure and not conservative at all just a hate site filled with freakS. WITH NO LIFE!

Dear No:
You'll get no quarrel from me about that. I think conservatives should have a heart before being Constitutional dogmatists. When we put doctrine before the lives of the innocent, we become no better than the Left or (gads!) the Losertarians.

"Jeb Bush is not the President. If you don't even know that, then you have no business commenting on this - or anything else, for that matter."
I nvever said he was....whqat I do say is that Jeb Bush as governor of his state has responsibilities in his state. He is not a pottet plot...he can take action to save lives.
Who that hell are you to tell me what I can or can not say.
