A spokesperson for Michael Schiavo says Terri Schiavo's feeding tube was removed Friday with Michael in attendance.
He says a prayer service was held first, and that Michael was emotional and crying, saying he wanted to put the situation behind him.
Terri Schiavo's parents, the Schindlers, visited with Terri Friday morning, prior to the tube's removal.
Pinellas-Pasco Circuit Court Judge George Greer denied two U.S. House of Representative emergency motions Friday, which allowed the tube's removal.
The first motion was to intervene in the case for the House Committee on Government Reform and the second motion was to push the date back nine days so it could conduct what it calls a field investigation concerning the healthcare of Schiavo.
A neurologist appeared at Terri Schiavo's Pinellas Park hospice center Friday with a TV screen to show video of patients he treated that were in worse condition than Schiavo and got better.
What on earth makes you think it's a joke? Reporters, lawyers, a newspaper, online websites all reporting it. Maybe you should check it out with snopes.com before you're convinced.
Terri's 'husband' has another common law wife. Is this not polygamy?

GREAT post!! Heartily agreed.
Ping to #485.
And I for one think your prediction is not far from happening.
NO! NOT AT ALL! But this is such an emotionally charged issue ... it wouldn't surprise me to see it happen. But as I said, I DO NOT ADVOCATE IT!
A caller into our local talk radio host here in Memphis posed this thought. How can greer judge this case since he is legally blind and all the evidence that Terri is not in a vegitative state is visual?
I though of that angle, already. No dice.
Florida recognizes common law marriages from the few other states that allow them, but there hasn't been common law marriage in Florida for nearly 40 years.
Google/Yahoo: Florida marriage "common law"
I don't know Terri or her family, but as a fellow human being I am so sad for her, and outraged.
They always do.
" I only recently became aware of her true status. I had thought she was brain dead, and on a respirator. The media has been withholding the truth."
The same with me. Until I saw Terri's video on Hannity and Colmes.
Tonight on NBC Nightly News, Brian Williams intoned that she had " been kept alive by machines for 15 years."
There is absolutely no excuse for such sloppy reporting.
Of course, he then showed video of the Husband of the Year fussing over Terri when he had her out for an excursion, early on in her disability. And amazingly-she wasn't hooked up to any machines. But,Brian didn't seem to notice.
Then on the Fox roundtable, Dr Ceci Connally pronounced Terri as being " in a coma," for 15 years.
She said it twice and then Brian Wilson reeled her in and she " corrected " herself to PVS.
Prayers for Terri and her parents.
Is her body dead yet?
If you have a dog and let it starve to death, it's a crime.
People die, if they are going to, with full stomachs every day.
Food water and oxygen are basic necessities- even for the suffering and dying- which Ms. Schiavo obviously is not- so how is this different from putting a pillow over her face and depriving her of breath? Just longer and no one's hands get dirty?
This is murder for convenience.
Intentionally starving anyone to death is. How is this ok because a rat bast--d 'husband' wants it?
They'll have to go through me to get to her. Protecting her is my loving honor and sacred duty.
You said it.
Thank YOU!
That's wha I'm talkin' bout.
I think it had 8 thousand something this morning, it's getting a lot and Monday morning will hold a lot for the Florida legislature. They think this week was bad!
That makes two of us.
Should have checked the spelling. I would have sworn there was a "u", involved. I typed it out with two ,"ll's", and it didn't look correct.
Oh well, you knew what I meant. When I was younger, I was 'mo better speller.
