We got news on what happened to Terri. Terri said "I--want--to--live" and was heard from a policeman. They ushered out the Schindlers and the policeman now denies the story.

What in the hell is going on in that hospice room? How do you get to a cop to recant? Is the whole legal system in Florida corrupt?

I am so pissed, I can hardly type.

I took care of a man with a very similar injury. Neck broken at 17 in a diving accident.

He needed a lot of help. After finishing rehab he went on to college, got a PHD in philosophy and spent the next 30 years teaching.

I have been praying and freeping. Already email a priest friend of mine to pray and another who is a Christian Scientist. Another called me up to thank for all my support I have given him in the past few years. I told him to show his gratitude by praying for Terri. (and him an atheist)I am sure Mother Theresa is working right now in heaven for Terri.

I can't figure out the husband's motives. He has a new "wife", children and life, why doesn't he just let Terri's parents have her. His behavior defies all logic.

and last rites. The HINO (aka Michael Schiavo) would not allow a priest in the hospice for last rites last time they removed the feeding tubes. I don't know whether we're talking the same incident, but I remember reading this on FR.
