We have millions of dollars of medical equipment out there to answer questions about her real mental condition. Why don't they use them?

Quite simple - because the murderous husband Michael doesn't want her tested. What's funny - if all medical avenues were pursued and it emerged that Terry REALLY is vegetative and had no hope of ANY recovery, REGARDLESS of therapy and treatment, and that she had ZERO mental capacity - and really is BRAIN DEAD - then all questions would be answered and far fewer would be trying to help keep Terry alive. Michael's own refusal to allow experts to examine Terry and to test her is evidence in my mind that he knows she is alive and wants to live - he is afraid the public will find out.

I agree with you and posted earlier about the Declaration of Independence on which this Nation Under God was founded. Time for those who believe in those words to stand up and be counted.

A State Judge IMHO has no right to sentence an innocent person to die by dehydration and starvation while that person can still breathe on their own. They don't do that to serial killers -- why would they do that to an innocent woman whose husband has withheld therapy over the years?

Using a feeding tube to receive artifical nutrients and water is a medical procedure. The courts have found "clear and convincing evidence" that Terri does not want to live like a house plant.
If you keep watering a dead house plant it will just wither away and die. No matter how much food and water it gets.

He doesn't have to, unless a federal judge orders him to do so. Congress has no jurisdiction.

The minute those subpoenas were issued, congress had jurisiction. Proper procedure is for Michael Schiavo to quash the subpoenas. That wasn't done, feeding tube is removed, contempt of congress, obstruction of justice.
