**Exclusive Fri Mar 18 2005 00:50:07 ET** The Chairman of the Health, Education, Labor, and Pension (HELP) Committee, Mike Enzi (R-Wyoming) has requested Terri Schiavo to testify before his congressional committee, the DRUDGE REPORT has learned. In so doing it triggers legal or statutory protections for the witness, among those protections is that nothing can be done to cause harm or death to this individual.

Exactly. If they would release this woman, her parents would care for her. Instead, they want to take the action that will result in her death. I, too, want the authorities to LET THIS WOMAN GO!!!

I have been worry about this quite a while, looks like a stay of execution can be ordered. Enough time to legally get things back fully in her and her parents favor, one hopes, and out of the hands of that scoundrel Michael!!

In the process of saving Terri, there was a movement to quash the will of the people by impeaching Greer, who was re-elected by the people of Florida.

I have watched you contort logic and reason on this thread claiming to be defending the Constitution, but this is almost funny coming from someone calling himself a conservative.

The judiciary is the avenue the left has chosen to disregard the will of the people. The legislature is chosen by the people, and THEY have come to Terri's defense.

The Constitution protects the life of each citizen, and you have chosen to accept the will of a liberal judge to defend the MURDER of this innocent woman.

Think it over. You can't really mean that you support the will of this single judge over the will of the people of Florida.

Lord, we plead with You on behalf of Terri Schiavo, but not only for her sake. Her life is precious but her situation is also symbolic of the culture of death that is becoming more pervasive in our society. It is for You to decide when the end of our earthly days has come, not some person or group who follow the prince of darkness. Bind the hands of satan and open the eyes of those who are blind to Your goodness, mercy, and eternal love. Let Your will be done on earth as it is in Heaven. Amen.

Our prayers are with you brave folks, FV. And hopefully there are some lawyers among you. Remember if you are threatened with arrest, ask on what grounds.
I still don't know whether the police there are obligated to obey the judge or the governor if they get conflicting orders, but I certainly do remember what happened last time. Also, another freeper in this thread (or some other, LOL, who knows anymore?) wrote that the police have been advised that they do not have to obey an illegal order. Sounds like there could be some chaos over there, with everybody having his own opinion which orders are legal, never mind which authority to obey.
And chaos is dangerous, so you be careful. Don't forget where you parked either! :)

I have to wonder also. I get the impression from reading her information page that Terri, by Michael's orders, be denied treatment for anything.

UTI'S (which going untreated must have been excruciating), Dental Decay (anybody here remember their last abcessed tooth? Hurt like He!!, didn't it) and I'm sure she has survived many other infections, bedsores and such with the likely possibility of sepsis (blood infection) being a complication of some of them.

YET, the lady is still here.

We definitely should be at least humble enough to respect the tenacity for life the woman has and the NEEDLESS suffering she has been put through.
