**Exclusive Fri Mar 18 2005 00:50:07 ET** The Chairman of the Health, Education, Labor, and Pension (HELP) Committee, Mike Enzi (R-Wyoming) has requested Terri Schiavo to testify before his congressional committee, the DRUDGE REPORT has learned. The FNC viewers must have been confused,
watching video of Terri smiling, and tracking
a baloon, while Fiducia called her "brain-dead"

The FNC producers put the banner
"RIGHT TO DIE CASE" below video of Terri
looking intently as someone along her bedside
spoke to her.

George Noory, on the radio show "Coast to Coast AM" supports Terri. Right now, the first half-hour: "former paralysis victim Kate Adamson (who had her feeding tube removed for 8 days) and her husband Steven Klugman will discuss their efforts to help Terry Schiavo."

I don't think he needs any judicial participation at all. Congress can issue its own subpoenas.

>>We wouldn't want her to be in contempt of congress, would we ?

Sure would! Criminals have protection under the Constitution.

But I think Enzi's trying to get a restraining order to keep Terri's tubes in until she has testified. That's what I was referring to when I asked if Enzi can go from judge to judge until one of them signs.

Great idea. Maybe it will buy enough time for other avenues open up to save her life. I have always wondered why her husband and Judge Greer want to murder her. It doesn't make sense.

Excellent strategery

Agree, and I think she will feel right at home with our congressmen. ;-)

A good move though; I hope we can get down to the bottom of this, so we can get on with helping her.

?l He mentioned that he read all the affidavits and viewed the tapes.

He quoted at length from medical texts on the diagnosis of this type of condition.

Dr. Frist's judgment was that Terri was NOT in a permanent vegetative state. Sounds like the Senate will get its act together.

You're correct.

DRUDGE: Members of Congress went to the U.S. Attorney in DC to ask for a temporary restraining order to be issued by a judge, which protects Terri Schiavo from having her life support, including her feeding and hydration tubes, removed... Developing...

Awesome, awesome. I've been staying up hitting the refresh button over and over again hoping for good news. I just could't even go to bed.

This is awesome. I am sick to death of wimpalong Republicans and fair weather conservatives.

Finally, smarts and balls. Good combo.
