to love means let people die in the way they want to.

Lord Jesus, I don't pretend to know what's right or wrong in this case, but I know that You do. My prayer is that Terri will just wake up. I know it would be a miracle, but my Lord, you are a miracle-working God. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen.
What should we call it when Michael Schiavo, George Greer and the Florida State Supreme Court stymie investigations into the possible abuse of a human being?

Wallace also says 'I know I would never want to be in a position of draining all my loved ones' financial and emotional resources' -- then turns around and declares that 'the husband should have more rights than the parents.'
Gambling seems to be agreeing with him. What ignoraumses.
Have just lost whatever respect I ever had for Chris Wallace or John Gambling.
Or, put another way, "people Vs the elites". For the sake of democracy in the United States, may the people win...
Just in -- the tube stays!!! Praise the Lord
Says decision is on the "technicality" that Judge Greer "can't be located" to deal with the subpoenas issue!
So apparently another judge (didn't hear whether federal or state) made decision to postpone the tube's removal.

The time for the revolution to begin has long passed. We poor fools have allowed the political and judicial class to overwhelm us and we're left wringing our hands.
May the Lord bless her and her family and all of those who have worked so hard to save her....and may he not forget those who would have her starve...
Terri's husband has a 'common law wife'...this is polygamy. How is it that a polygamist can make such a decision for one of his wives? In AMERICA!?!
Prayers for Terri and her family.

Praying for Terri, and only hope the outcome would reflect her wishes.
I can't imagine anyone wishing to be kept alive for so many years to ultimately have their feeding tube removed. Terri has sufferred so much already, if she would choose to die now, there is clearly a better way.
I suspect she has lost any real hope of even the most optimistic of recoveries after being denied rehabiitation for so long. Such a tragedy what she and those around her have been thru.
From a thread about the Pope addressing all priests on Holy Thursday:
**The prefect said that "in the silence of his suffering," the Holy Father "repeats with the example of a life given 'until death' St. Paul's affirmation: 'we proclaim Christ crucified ... the power of God and the wisdom of God.'"**
This one statement says tons about the Terri Schiavo case, doesn't it?
Who's watching guardians? An audit finds the county isn't monitoring guardians for the elderly and infirm. The Pinellas County problems predate Greer, and it would seem likely that the GOP insiders are involved in the corruption and thus refused to allow the election of any judge who would stop it.Officials failed to carefully monitor guardianships set up for the elderly and infirm, leaving some of the Pinellas County's most vulnerable citizens at risk of being defrauded, an audit has found. ...
Terri's not the first person these people have tried to kill. She just has the distinction of having steadfastly refused to die like she was supposed to.
It is amazing to me that the same people who justified keeping Christopher Reeve alive are the very same people now screaming for the "right to die" for Terri.
They made it an election year issue, supported the spending of tens of millions of dollars to keep Superman, who was on almost total life support alive, and yet support "right to die" and Euthanasia, what this is really about, when it suits their political cause.
I HAVE A VERY SIMPLE RULE: WHEN IN DOUBT, ALWAYS CHOOSE LIFE .
