Thanks! Greer getting trumped is a beautiful thing....
This means Terri gets to leave the state of Florida, doesn't it, if she has to testify?
Just wow.
Spirit her away from her prison.
After I could breathe and stand up again, it took the courage to inform him that "this time" would be the last time.
I told him I'd blow his brains out while he slept if he ever laid a paw on me again.
So....he hid my bullets and left the next day....:)
Reckon I took all the "fun" out of it, for him.
I did find my bullets up on a rafter in the attic about 3 years later....LOL!
Hard times followed, financially and otherwise but it was worth it and my only regret was not doing it years earlier.
[I'd not have nerve damage from an untreated neck fracture, for one thing]
*But*...life is GOOD now and the new hubby is truly a God-send...:)
Thanks, DJ.
Yes they are. I think that's why Phil gave Greer the nickname "Benito Finito". ROTFLMAO
Ain't it, though! Of course, Greer can still pretend that he's God. But Jeb now probably has the authority (well, he probably had it all along but was unwilling to use it) to call in the National Guards, or force the police/sheriff, to ignore Greer because of a court order from a court authority higher than Greer.
"Got it examined by a shrink who told me I should feel sorry for my husband~"
And so that proves my theory that most shrinks are indeed mad, themselves.
I did the "protection" thing too.
Don't be hard on yourself.
It happens.
Thank God you survived it.
Time to put a lid on this emotional day. FReep on and PLEASE keep praying! ;)
'Benito Fenito', lol!
You're welcome. Everyone deserves a chance at joy.
They teach prison guards a lot of "nifty tricks" in self-defense classes, unfortunately.
For years I heard no kind words.
You're gonna make me cry....now quit that....:-]
[and thanks again]
honestly, I don't think you'll see him in any jumpsuit. Judges are immune from prosecution for their role as judge. (Their may be some kind of exception, but he cannot be charged with any crimes as far as decisions made "within his discretion.") Unfortunately, the District Court of Appeals have upheld numerous of his decisions, so, that even helps Greer out, if you know what I mean.
However, if there is provable criminal activity.....that would be another story, of course. And I've no doubt there is; I only hope that whatever he's done wrong, criminal or not, is exposed and he's removed from the bench.
They should have sent some of these cops to Georgia to the courthouse. God help us all. sigh :(
Well, I've actually prayed about it. I've asked that God would expose things that are in the dark. I've ask that He take vengeance on those who are trying to kill Terri, that He hold them, each and every person, accountable, either on this earth, or in the hereafter. I know He will, one way or the other.
Always.
;)
Good night, and thank you for the beautiful roses.
I can sleep peacefully now.
That's Mussolini, Fascist leader of Italy in the 1920's and 1930's. Lost his footing during WW2.
