Hi MOM!! Welcome to the Canteen!!

I have to tell you a funny. When #1 daughter was about 2, we were teaching her everyone's names (Daddy's name is John, Mommy's name is Star, etc.) My mom's name is Etoile. When we asked what Grammy's name was she piped up in his little mickey Mouse voice "Gwammy's name is Eyeore!" It's become quite a family joke!

I got word today that an old boyfriend of mine passed away on Saturday. He was a very cool cat- he loved music and he wrote some very silly poetry for me. He wasn't married and he had no children. I just ordered flowers for the wake- and I cried a bit to the poor florist. These were some songs he enjoyed. Rest in peace Mark. I will always remember your smile and your laugh.

There are a couple of his friends who lurk here.
