[history]
Kerry Pacer was used to the whispering behind her back, the name-calling and the snickering when she walked down the hall. But when almost the entire student body at White County High School booed as she accepted a rose from a female friend during a Valentine's Day (news - web sites) program last month, she knew it was time to do something.

Wow! C'mon and tell us what you REALLY think ;) But I agree with you, actually. You're telling it like it is. However, while those are indeed the "un-pretty" and certainly politically incorrect truths, I think that bullying, violence, etc., are certainly not the way to deal with gays and lesbians. Their lifestyle, unquestionably, is not accepted by God nor by Christians. But then what about us "loving the unlovely." We don't need to accept their lifestyle -- but blasting them with stones or words will neither "fix" them or set a good example.

Evil is a constant. Just because certain people don't view it as evil anymore doesn't make it ok. Their was a great quote in the Simpsons. It was the episode where they build a casino in Springfield.
Ned Flanders (an ultra conservative Christian asks the local pastor if it was alright to embrace the casino. The pastor said:
"Once the government declares something legal, it is no longer immoral."
Seems to apply in today's world very well.

Oh that makes perfect sense. She realizes that her schoolmates don't like her choice of lifestyle, so she organizes a club to get in their faces about it.
Yeah, that will endear her to them even more.

How does someone with a 16 y.o. brain and mental makeup already know they are a homosexual?
What do her parents think? What do her parents tell her? That they condone this lifestyle choice made by a SIXTEEN y.o.? Did she decide she was a lesbian when she was what, 14? 15? How would she know?
Man...this is sad.

Nerds, fat kids, ugly kids, dumb kids, and kids with acne are all victims of bullyingYes, they are, it's painful, hurtful and cruel. But they also learn that's it's just common sense to try to avoid doing anything that would invite the scorn of others - unlike these "gay" kids who attend dances with a same sex date or otherwise flaunt their perversion. The geeky kid doesn't go out of his way to be geeky. The "gay" kid - at least the one described in this article - is putting her "difference" in everybody's face and daring them not to react.

It seems this family moved here from Baltimore and immediately set about changing the ways of the community. Now if people from this area moved north to Baltimore would they be allowed to change the community to their beliefs. If the interlopers do not like things the way they are they should set about to moving to a more amiable community.

Re-read Romans. If you don't want it from me, take it from St. Paul.

There were no "stones" in my post. That was your assumption. I merely called unrepentant homosexuals what they are--children of the devil, the walking dead. It does them no service, no kindness, to "agree to disagree." The New Testament is much more direct on the matter of sin. In our age, we practice a watered-down, seeker-friendly "Christianity" that doesn't bother to call sin what it is--sin! This little reprobate from Georgia would do well to listen to the "boos" that were directed her way. If there weren't so many effeminate Christians with false mercy holding out a hand to her, she just might have been convicted of her sin and repent.

She should become more acquainted with a term called "the closet." You're right! I don't want to hear about it. I don't want to see it. It's a sin, it's sick and it's perverted. Keep it out of the schools, keep it off the streets, and keep it in the closet. End of story.

What century is it in your world?
It's about 1794 here. The constitution is unfettered by effeminate, sodomite whores. Convicted murderers aren't put in jail; they are executed. Everyone observes the Lord's day. Wives obey their husbands; children obey their parents. Teenage girls don't kill their own children. Preachers teach sin, repentance, and mercy.
Where do you live? In the MTV generation?

It made it into the news because it advances the homosexual agenda.

LOL!
___
Anyways...
Homosexuals are humans just as anybody else, the only thing that is different about them is that they have reprobate minds that they need healing from. Instead of avoiding homosexuals Christians should accept them as people, but reject what they do as vile, since God sees it that way (Romans 1:26-27.) How would Jesus treat a homosexual? He would love them and care for them and show them that there is a better lifestyle that they can choose so that they can live a more meaningful life.
What is interesting about the Democrats calling the Republicans narrow-minded fascists etc is the fact that they champion "tolerance" and let homosexuals be as they are -broken. But when a Republican turns out to be a homosexual they like to point and laugh and call that person gay in a derogatory manner.
What churches need to do is (and a lot of them are) is accept them, and change them, there are numerous instances in which homosexuals have changed and now feel like they have a purpose.
Go here to see instances in which homosexuals have changed:

The moment that a youngster expresses confusion over his or her sexuality, or a same-sex attraction, the parasites, in the form of homosexual teachers, other "homosexual" kids, PFLAG, etc., swoop down and start to brainwash the youngsters into believing that they are, in fact, homosexual. They are referred to websites which reinforce these ideas, and to counselors who "help them to feel comfortable with who they are." It's a nefarious, filthy piece of business and it's going on in our schools.

" a leper is someone with a health condition, not a person damned by the lord," Homosexuality is arguably a mental defect, but it is not a "health condition". Until science shows us otherwise, homosexuality is a choice. The "health conditions" occur after the person decides to act on homosexual impulses.

Not quite right. He would rebuke them, and if they repented, he would forgive them. If they did not repent, he would approach them with another brother, and then the church. If they refused to repent, and if they had the bald faced audacity to ask for acceptance of, and approval for their sin, well, I dont' really want to even imagine what HE would do.
