Eight people are dead and four others injured after gunfire broke out during a church meeting this afternoon at the Sheraton Hotel in Brookfield. Police say that the suspect is among the eight dead and no other suspects are being sought.
The dead range in age from 10 years old to 72.
oh, damn!
I'm good, how's you? Been on this thing all day yesterday and today with the shootings...man...
FRegards,
FRmail.
How quick you are to jump to conclusions.
You both heard that comment! Thanks for reporting it.
I would LOVE to know the name of that reporter. If you can figure it out, please post it.
"The article said it was a church meeting."
The Living Church of Christ. Apparently associated with the son of a guy called Armstrong who is a long time evangelist.
Or if you work at WTMJ, a JESUS NUT.
Well, as I was composing my query just as someone else was posting the article, I wouldn't have seen it before I hit "post".
Check the time stamps. I'm not stupid and saw the article AFTER I posted.
Download SurferNetwork through here and install it on your system. Then wait and wait and wait to get through the commercials, just in case the station goes live with "shooting" news updates. Otherwise, if they go back to sports, they'll play nothing but commercials on the player.
Jesus did not command His followers to kill infidels, whereas, the killing of non-Muslims is a basic tenet of Islam.
Too bad your screen name does not reflect your actual thinking ability, but your anti-Christian bias and love for Islam is duly noted.
I keep WTMJ bookmarked as every once in a while I listen to Charlie Sykes.

Bumping your post.
OOh, here we go! Apologies for it and don't know where it came from! (RIIIIIGGGGHHHT!!!)
Hey! I kinda LIKE being called a Jesus Nut! Better THAT than an atheist!!! (or worse)
:)
If it associated with the Armstrong I'm thinking of...first Herbert W. Armstrong, and then his son Garner Ted Armstrong, that is a legalistic cult.
It started out as 'the Worldwide Church of God' decades ago...I wonder if the son, who I know broke off at one point, came up with this other name...
Don't know.
< sarcasm>.....VPC promised the sheeple that paper laws would stop people from being shot < /sarcasm> !....blink blink blink !
And, I didn't mention Islam. I mentioned terrorists, but not the religion of Islam. The terrorists could be any religion and still be under the spell of evil, they could be Christian, it wouldn't make a difference which religion.
I have seen evil in many religious sects. I never said it did not exist in Christianity. For heaven's sake: history has shown us that repeatedly. Evil often tries to gain hold through religion, under the guise and protection of people of faith. Look at the situation with many Catholic priests who have molested children, look at that fundamentalist movement years ago (Tammy Faye's husband, can't even remember his name now) , geeze, even movies about it, ala "Elmer Gantry," and his connection with the Methodist religion. It is not just my theory. It is not limited to Islam. Evil is always looking for the opportunity to move within, change its face, and then take over. Getting a foothold within a religious sect is evil's favorite place.
That was my impression from the quick research I did.
