This is a breaking news situation.

A man entered a courtroom in the Fulton County Courthouse this morning and shot a Fulton County Sheriff's deputy, a clerk and a judge; there are reports from both WSB and WAGA, the judge is deceased.

The perp has carjacked multiple vehicles -- now on his third -- and is still at large.

I've just come from downtown Atlanta, and the city is a madhouse.

Armed Man Kills Judge in Atlanta Courthouse

(CNSNews.com) - A man on trial for rape reportedly grabbed a sheriff deputy's gun in open court Friday morning, killing a Fulton County, Ga., judge. It happened just as the Superior Court session was getting under way. Judge Rowland Barnes died, reports said, and a sheriff's deputy and court clerk were shot as well. The extent of their injuries is not yet known. The suspect got away, carjacking several vehicles in the process. Judge Barnes made headlines in February for ordering a woman who killed her 5-week-old daughter to undergo sterilization and serve five years on probation.

Was he a jail inmate? If so, why wasnt he in restraints in court? Kind of hard to run away in chains and orange flip flops.

He's a dead man. Either the cops will shoot him, an armed citizen will shoot him, or he will be captured and sentenced to death. They take cop killing seriously in Ga.

Since he keeps switching cars, and they know the whereabouts of the switch and the make and model of the car, it seems like a police helicopter could locate the guy.

I guess it depends how often he's switching cars.
