Fulton Co. Judge shot and killed in courthouse shooting (BREAKING Fri 9A)

This is a breaking news situation.

A man entered a courtroom in the Fulton County Courthouse this morning and shot a Fulton County Sheriff's deputy, a clerk and a judge; there are reports from both WSB and WAGA, the judge is deceased.

The perp has carjacked multiple vehicles -- now on his third -- and is still at large.

I've just come from downtown Atlanta, and the city is a madhouse.

I think the new one has 10, I only tried one case there though and it's been awhile, so I'm not sure. I haven't even been down there since 1994.

The old courthouse I thought had only six floors, but I looked it up and there are nine. I should have thought of that before, because the last case I tried was on the ninth floor of the old courthouse, in Judge Eldridge's courtroom.

The old courthouse is a rabbit warren, and it would be very easy for somebody to hide or escape.

NEW INFORMATION: Some stupid media questions continue (that's not really new!). Also, police (Depty Chief) cannot or won't answer the latest sighting of the perp. Just says they are getting a lot of information and for other people to call if they have details.

I'm listening on WSB webcast radio. I've also gotten used to not being concrete on details until AFTER I hear a verifiable source give out the info. On live threads like this, the info can be kinda... fluid... until more data comes in.
