This is a breaking news situation.
A man entered a courtroom in the Fulton County Courthouse this morning and shot a Fulton County Sheriff's deputy, a clerk and a judge; there are reports from both WSB and WAGA, the judge is deceased.
The perp has carjacked multiple vehicles -- now on his third -- and is still at large.
I've just come from downtown Atlanta, and the city is a madhouse.

Yep. The old, "We're in charge. Have no new info. But leave everything up to us. We're professionals." Despite the fact it was one of their "professionals" who let the perp get his hands on a gun in the first place.
I hate bureaucrats...
Conference ends. No new info. The guys at the top seem to know even less than we do.

What was he on trial for? As other's have said, rape, but also possession of a firearm by a felon, possession of a machine gun, and possession of a "large quantity" of marijuana.

Rightly Biased, lilylangtrees' statement is no more detrimental than your tag line. And don't like Hillary Clinton. Wrong. There is a judge who is DEAD and it was applauded. There is nothing in that tagline wishing death to HRC.
We at FR prize logic and if you can't follow rational thinking you won't last long here.
I find it interesting you got your undies in a bunch over criticism of HRC.
To: cajungirl
No, but you can "have" that one if you want it........LOL.
lilylangtree is MIA for comments she made.

Amazing that the only person who contributed any useful information was a non-public official (the doctor).

Some are in school. Only Fulton County is out. Atlanta and surrounding counties are in school. That is why they are on lock down.

Help me understand this. Those who are saying "PC killed 3 people", are you saying that because the deputy was a woman, 3 people died? Is your argument that women have no right to be deputies?
I know the perp was allowed into the courtroom unshackled, and that's what SOME of you mean, but many of your comments came after the discovery that one of the deputies was female.

They just said that the deputy that was with the suspect (who had the gun taken from her, and is in critical condition) was a woman. Who was the person who made that call, and when do we get to tar and feather him (her)?

For instance, what if deputy was a male, then would this have happened? Just food for thought, and please do not flame me females.Check out post #1,487. Except for the tall deputy, none of the others -- male or female -- inspire a lot of confidence.

Agreed! This whole incident came about because of "Political Correctness." They took the words "So help me God." out of the courtroom when they were swearing in people to testify. Then the decision not to have criminals in handcuffs, shackles, prison jumpsuits, or legs shackled to the table, etc. because it might "prejudice" a jury. It is all insane.
Whether or not this perp was free, on bond, came from prison, or not...he should have been in some restraint because he had been caught carrying a "shank" in his boot the previous week in the courtroom.
I can't think of a worse example of liberal attitudes run amuck.
To: cyncooper
He later praised HRC but this isn't the time or the thread.
