I would say something but this topic seems to get pulled a lot on this board. I had my first reply ever pulled on a topic concerning this. So, I do not know the whole story behind it, but don't be surprised if this one is pulled too. For some reason, defending your homeland is a no-no.

Mexico needs to focus on the reasons why the US economy can absorb a million immigrants each year and still have the lowest unemployment figures in the world, while their economy can not even absorb its own working class.
They need to analyze why it is that its people are willing to risk their lives and brave all the problems of life as an illegal worker in order to get away from the homeland they love. They need to consider why it is that, however bad they try to paint the treatment of Mexican illegals in the US, it is better than life at home and everyone knows it.
There, in the answer to that question, lies the path to wisdom. When Mexico learns to answer that question, its citizens won't have to leave in droves and the other issue will evaporate.

DAMMIT. I heard Laura Ingraham talking about this on her show today. This whole immigration thing is without a doubt the most underrated topic of our day. Not enough people informed and not enough people talking about it.

In related news, MALDEF has filed a $32 Million lawsuit against Arizona rancher Roger Barnett and Cochise County Sheriff Larry Dever, alleging they abused 14 illegal immigrants on Barnett's property and that Dever did nothing about it.

Is there anyone that honestly believes Bush will do ANYTHING to cause his best bud, mr. v. fox any concern? what will anyone do to worry Bush, tell him they won't vote for him next time? No one in any state of federal government will do anything to stop the border crossings to the south. NO ONE ! If private citizens do stop them, most of them will be put in jail (the american) and ALL THEIR BELONGINGS WILL BE CONFESCATED.
