The Threat Matrix
The title refers to a daily report given to the president of the United States detailing the most serious terrorist threats against the country. To tackle those threats, the government has formed a top-notch task force to infiltrate the terror cells and cut off the danger.
"Every morning, the president receives a list of the top ten terrorist threats - this list is known as the threat matrix."
We here at FR are trying to be in conjunction with the daily reports around the world that involve threats. We try to provide a storehouse of information that takes hours of research. |

U.S. works 'day and night' to rein in al-Qaida Full Story
|
WASHINGTON - Prompted by new intelligence indicating Osama bin Laden reached out to the most feared terrorist in Iraq, President Bush charged Thursday that "al-Qaida still hopes to attack us on our own soil." "Recently, we learned that Osama bin Laden has urged the terrorist Zarqawi to form a group to conduct attacks outside Iraq, including here in the United States," Bush said at the swearing-in of Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff. The president vowed, "We're working every day and night to dismantle (bin Laden's) network and to bring him to justice." The latest chatter we have supposedly picked up between UBL and Zarqawi leads me to believe it was via a courier not via any type of Comm.
In that if had picked up any chatter via Sat phone or other Comm device we would not have made this public -
Now lets just hope we picked up this courier in Pak (and thus closer to UBL) - So we can get back on his trail to some extent.

Dr. Fazia, the medical examiner of the hospital told the Feb. 21 edition of Daily Naya Akhbar that she had never encountered such extreme violence to a woman. No matter how many times they extol themselves to be "the religion of peace," incidents such as this prove otherwise. No telling how many Christian man and women have not been as fortunate as this particular woman. Noting the verbiage, there is no office of human rights in Karachi. Christians there have no rights whatsoever.
Her brothers received threats that all the members of the family would be killed and her younger sisters would be abducted and raped if the matter was reported to the police.

That "updated" picture of Zarqawi could be one of thousands of men in this country who have a similar "look."

It's not on my "must visit for vacation" list. I agree. My dream vacation at one time would have been touring the ancient markets, admiring the ancient architecture and scenery, and buying rugs and exotic trinkets for my loved ones back home. Not anymore!

Heartbreaking.
No more tolerance for Islam from me. May they all convert to anything else. Islam is a scourge, and it has been since the beginning. Practically all Moslems in the world are descendents of those who were forcibly converted.

I also used to tolerate homosexuals. No more. When people want to destroy human civilization, it is evil to tolerate it. Note my tagline.

Islamic terrorists seeking to recruit women: report
Maybe they are worried about the EEOC.
From the Daily Times:
Islamic extremists are looking to recruit women and are trying to do so mainly through the Internet, according to an Italian intelligence report.
The document, presented to parliament Thursday, gathers evidence from the second half of 2004. The report said the Internet has established itself as a fundamental means of recruiting extremists.
