The poll underscores just how little headway Mr. Bush has made in his effort to build popular support as his proposal for overhauling Social Security struggles to gain footing in Congress. At the same time, there has been an increase in respondents who say that efforts to restore order in Iraq are going well, even as an overwhelming number of Americans say Mr. Bush has no clear plan for getting out of Iraq.

Smart Democrats, like Hillary, are jumping on the Bush bandwagon. Other Democrats are still comparing Bush to Hitler.
Funny how Dean for the resignation of someone who calls the Dems "The party of Lynn Stewart," which is accurate, but no one calls for the resignation of a Senator who once again plays the Hitler card.
Poll says, NYT more irrelevent by the moment.
Mister Republican's new poll shows that the New York Times' "Priorities Are Out of Step With Americans".

I see the NYSlimes has polled their usual Democrat base. They get the same results on every issue, which is amazing, isn't it?
I think President Bush ought to announce that due to the fact that the liberal media, AARP, and the Democrat Party do not see any problems with SS, he will go on to work on other issues. If there should happen to be any difficulties in SS in the future, all whining and angry letters should be addressed to the aforementioned groups, since he will be enjoying his retirement in Texas.

Ah the NYT. What a democratic shill machine. And it's totally WRONG.
NEWSFLASH: NYT totally out of touch with Americans and has rendered itself ireelevant.
Where did the NYSlimes take their poll? The DUmmie Underground?
At the very bottom of the second page no less.
George Bush runs slightly ahead of the pack. The majority will eventually make it to where he is now...excepting the NYT.
Pure, high test BS!. The President has said repeatedly that the plan is to stay until the job is done.
they keep shoveling this &*ap!! So transparent!!
Ignore NYT polls. They are purely push polling.
Every time I see one of these stupid polls I always wonder why the pollsters dont ask the necessary corollary question: How familiar are you with this issue?
Always trust content from this source...bwahahahaha.
This can't be accurate.
The NYT has no liberal bias, and would never be anti Bush.

Hold on for a tick.
You are telling me the NEW YORK TIMES -- a reliably pro-Bush newspaper, and one that rabidly embraces conservatism -- commissioned a poll (which are usually "Results in search of a study") and the poll is ANTI-BUSH?!??!
Whoa. I may have to change my opinion of the New York Times. Are they starting to hire liberals over there or something?
It's just the NYT being the NYT.
Frankly, Public Opinion only counts for one day every two years in this country.
Last I checked, Public Opinion was strongly behind Bush.
