I knew a muslim fellow when I was in the army. He started out as a muslim that hated white people and America. Later on he met some people that were of a more moderate tone, and then joined the Army. There is more than one flaver of islam out there just like Christianity. They are dead wrong in their beliefs, but they don't all want to kill us. That is a hard thing for me to say.
My friend, Ali Sina, who runs faithfreedom.org (great website, incidentally), says that there really aren't any moderate Muslims. If they follow the Koran, they aren't moderate. Period.
Maybe the guy you knew is one in 150 million, but I'm horrified that this "education" is being carried out in my country! How dare they carry on such hate-filled, anti-western, anti-American indoctrination under our "free speech" and "freedom of religion" guarantees? I'm one furious American patriot. I can tell you that!.......but thanks for your thoughts, anyway.

Depending upon circumstances, they could easily be thousands of burning Saudi-funded Islamic schools in America.
Has anyone ever seen the "textbooks" that are always cited in these kinds of articles? Writers often mention them but never talk about titles or publishers. I think the article would be stronger if it gave this information.
We have lots of guns. If they start causing trouble, mosques will burn and many of them will die. I don't advocate this. It is just the way things will be.
I'm beginning to be a big fan of this writer!

Some weeks ago, John Gambling was discussing Islam on WABC Radio in New York. A caller said that his many Muslim friends were confused because their leaders did not provide any guidance. He also said that his Muslim friends admitted that they would kill him if the word went out from the mosques that jihad was on.

He has 5 kids, 3 boys and 2 girls. None are turbaned or chadored. His eldest son is a US Marine, currently deployed to Iraq. His oldest daughter has babysat for us a few times, and I have no hesitation leaving my 3 month old with her.
They try to live their religion in their hearts, without rigid adherance to some goat-fornicating Mullah's fatwas.
It is amazing what we let foreigners do in this country
I wonder how many of the parents of these kids are recent immigrants.
We need to investigate the schools and nip this problem in the bud.

Yes, these schools should be closed without delay. Anyone who wants to live, work or become a citizen of the US should learn our language, our laws and assimilate into our social society, especially our public or private educational system. Any fool has to suspect someone who wants to go to another country for a better life, but insists on hanging on to the old life which was to be left behind. The good life in American that these foreigner's want for themselves was born out of OUR institutions and OUR values. We see what their values have given birth to. Their culture has failed and they may think that the answer to the success of their religion is to gain control of America's wealth, it's land and it's government. However, if that were to ever occur, their brutal religion would soon have this nation looking like Iraq, Iran and Syria. Never, never, never! We are fighting a war to shut terrorist training camps down in Iraq..Why would we tolerate even a hint of such places being operated on our own soil?
