Terri's Freepers,
Judge George Greer denied Terri's parents' Motion for a Stay to protect their daughter's life while there are still pending issues in this LIFE AND DEATH MATTER. In addition the Department of Children and Family Services made a surprise visit to the court hearing the other day and asked Judge Greer if they could approach the bench. Judge Greer denied DCF the opportunity to speak. DCF asked for 60 days to conduct a complete investigation of allegations that have surfaced in the form of a Complaint to their agency.
What was set in motion instead? On Friday, February 25th, Judge Greer REFUSED TO issue another Stay because he was "not comfortable" issuing a say to protect a Ward of the State but instead "set a date certain" (on his calendar at least, not on mine) to BEGIN THE BARBARIC, ANTI-AMERICAN, STARVATION-DEHYDRATION SLOW MURDER OF TERRI.
Attorney Gibbs for Terri's parents held a press conference after J. Greer's order that was so tastefully written to indicate that "he was giving the Schindlers until March 18th so they could "prepare for Last Rites." Attorneys Gibbs called this ruling and prior rulings "Hitler-resque". Indeed.
If Judge Greer wasn't LEGALIZING EUTHANASIA in his courtroom, why any need for Last Rites? Greer's urgency to fulfill this killing places urgency on every one of us to lobby Governor Bush, Florida's House and Florida's Senate.
A Judge in America is ordering the manner of someone's death, a disabled woman who is healthy but needs rehabilitation.
Time is short so we don't really have time to get into Greer's mind to see why he is Florida's Til of the Hun.
What can we do?
1. LOBBY TO SAVE TERRI
2. HELP BUMP THIS THREAD.
3. POST ARTICLES YOU SEE ABOUT TERRI.
4. VISIT PINELLAS COUNTY FLORIDA AND VIGIL WITH US AT HOSPICE WOODSIDE.
5. VISIT TALLAHASSEE AND LOBBY IN THE HALLS OF THE LEGISLATURE.
6. HOLD A DEMONSTRATION AT THE GOVERNOR'S MANSION.
7. Join the Message Board that freepers started at the Crystal Cathedral/Hour of Power. TELL YOUR CHURCH ABOUT TERRI.
8. Tell your friends that Terri is alert and aware of her surroundings and to visit www.terrisfight.org to see her videos.
9. PETITIONS. We will gather current Petitions here for you. At this time, you can sign a SAVE TERRI PETITION AT www.renewamerica.us. THERE ARE ALSO IMPEACH GREER PETITIONS ABOUT.
Finally, the Pope has no Living Will. He will be SAFE as long as he stays away from George Greer's courtroom. The Pope is in our thoughts and prayers and he knows of Terri. He wants Terri to be freed from oppression and from a painless death by starvation-dehyration.
THANK YOU FOR ALL YOU DO EVERY DAY, THE PAY ISN'T VERY GOOD BUT THE FRINGE BENEFITS ARE THE GREATEST. You are Great Americans and liberty is Terri's and freedom from oppression. Freepers, that is the big payoff if we continue our daunting task.

Having to follow the law, as written, as per his oath of office, must be heartbreaking for this good man.
Remember when George Wallace stood in front of that school doorway some 40 years ago? He dared the federal government to do something about it, based on wrong reasoning. I would expect Jeb Bush to dare the Federal Government to do the something, based on right reasoning.
Ultimately, there needs to be some clarification as to whether laws are supposed to apply to facts as they exist, or as a judge claims the facts to be. To be sure, judges should be given great defference in their factual findings, but if a government worker knows that the judge's factual basis for a ruling is just plain wrong, should he "pretend" that the factual basis is correct, or should he act upon what he knows and face the consequences?
I would posit that if the law says that if an action may only be performed if certain conditions apply, and those conditons do not in fact apply, then the action is not legal even if a judge can be wrongly pursuaded that the conditions apply. Although from a legal standpoint proving the judge wrong may be difficult, a judge's declaration that the sky is purple does not make it so.
They need to be hammered, to use Mel Gibson's words, with emails and letters even as they refuse to consider the other side.
I feel sorry for this newspaper and the way it has added to the injustice done to Terri....but I feel even more sorry for its readers, who are so cheated from the full story.
It is amazing to me, that a judge who is actually legally blind, is such a biased judge.
But, he HAS to follow the LAW as WRITTEN because we all depend upon our legislators to do this..for good reason.
This case is SO OUTRAGEOUS...it defies common sense and worse, a person's LIFE hangs upon the outcome.
The legislature, by changing the LAW, can save not only Terri's life, but EVERYONE's life who, not having a written directions regarding artificial means of existence, is at the mercy of a hateful spouse or family member.
I was just watching "Saving Millie" . The story of Mort Kondracke and his wife who died of Parkinsons disease. When it got to the feeding I was floored. He said he didn't think he could do it if she refused it. She didn't refuse it. Oh, how sad that having to have a feeding tube is seen as artificial life support. It was a great love story, btw.
Yeah! Hold their feet to the fire. That's the way to go.
This is also the largest newspaper in Florida. It is also, probably, going to print in Monday's edition the AP wire story containing a quote from Terri's parents that 'she is learning to say I love you'. Terri can't say 'HELP!, let alone 'I love you'. Terri can't 'joke'. The parents need some serious PR help. God bless Terri, but the actions of her parents are not working in Terri's best interests.
The readers definitely are being cheated, but not by the paper.
I will never believe that. A good conistutional lawyer would have nailed him to the wall by now. I hate to say it, but they had cheap, very cheap attorneys in this case. Pro bono, ect. That does not mean they are bad people.

Have you read the statement by the Schindler's attorneys when they had their visit with Terri on Christmas eve?
Do you assume to know what is going on within Terri or what she is capable of emoting?
Terri knows EXACTLY when her father is about to kiss her...he threatens her with his silliness and movement and standard tickle and she responds with glee.

But if you could for one minute SUSPEND what you cannot really know, and believe EVEN one line of the attorney's write ups about Terri's responsiveness..you would be singing a different tune.
And their observations of Terri's APPROPRIATE EMOTIONS and AWARENESS of her surroundings is backed up by the Schindler's first attorney PAT ANDERSON as well as Pat's husband, who has written to his agony over the BIG LIE being perpetuated about Terri being PVS.
BTW---you could consider the fact that during the actual testimony given by both sides, medical people, in court to help the judge determine Terri's mental and physical state....there was a TIE. So to BREAK that tie...felos brought in an Ohio neuro doc who was known to him by his brother (felo's brother) because they shared an association in a euthanasia group.
If there are doctors split down the MIDDLE on a PVS condition, I'D RULE ON THE SIDE OF NON-PVS on GENERAL PRINCIPLE. Wouldn't you?
Maybe Michael could not have abused terri and hidden her away all these years if the PVS ( which EVERYTHING hinged on for them...a diagnosis they NEEDED in order to KILL HER, don'tchaknow?
Maybe someone has kept these letters by the attorney's for the Schindlers handy...it would be GREAT to POST them here about now.

Most importantly, he has ruled that even after the feeding tube is removed nobody who wants Terri to live would be allowed to offer food and water by mouth, despite (or more likely because of) affidavits that she had previously been taught to swallow.
It should be noted that when the Romans crucified Christ, they were willing to moisten his tongue. Schiavo, Felos, and Greer forbid even that.

How can you say that? You haven't seen Terri? Terri's parents aren't the only one saying she speaks. With due respect, YOU'RE JUST REPEATING THE WORDS OF FELOS AND THE SPINNING MEDIA.
There's a medical document that STATES: TERRI WAS SAYING *STOP* AND OTHER WORDS, IN 1991.
IMAGINE HOW MUCH BETTER TERRI WOULD BE TODAY IF SCHIAVO HAD NOT STOPPED HER THERAPY IN 1992 OR 1993. I BELIEVE WHAT THOSE WHO HAVE ACTUALLY BEEN WITH TERRI ARE SAYING.
Please consider all the eye witness reports, before you agree with the SPIN FROM FELOS AND THE MEDIA.
