I could be wrong, but I'd swear it's James Brown. |

I heard somewhere that some stars are "bribed" to wear those awful dresses.
That explains it, really. Why else would they wear them?

Doug, did you get into that pre-Oscar party?
If so, where's your report?

I was there for a little while and came home sick.
CLICK. It was uneventful, except that my niece got to have her picture taken with a few of them.

Agree that Sideways was most excellent. Finally, Paul Giamatti gets a chance to show his acting ability. Loved the scene where he is walking off, slightly drunk, his head cocked over to the side -- showing complete "dejection." ha!
Since Mr. Giamatti isn't getting recognized for this performance, hopefully, he will be given another opportunity. Acting talent like his is rare, imo. He seems to be a dedicted professional, not a self-absorbed egomanic, like some.

There are a few things that I have absolutely no interest in, and the OSCARS are one of them. Same here; yet it can be fun to mock all the pretty people.

I'd rather watch the Helen Thomas swimsuit video while chewing on a wad of aluminum foil and rubbing a cheese grater on my head than watch the annual Hollywood circle jerk.

Chris Rock playing video games in his trailer, could be a bad sign..
