You know, I thought about that when I was watching some of the old Johnny Carson footage. They showed a slam he made on Dan Quayle, and I laughed. And then I thought, that's the first time I laughed at a joke about a Republican in a very long time. It has to do with class. And delivery. And mainly TALENT. I fear that we have at least a generation of "stars" with no talent.

I hope the young ones are learning from this, and not that this current group proliferates its garbage.

I can never understand why people just don't click on by these threads, can you? Are we missing something here at FR? Maybe we should start dropping by threads we don't care about or aren't intersted in and holding forth with our distain. I wonder if it makes them feel better about their miserable lives? ;-)

Not exactly that simple...some would say why support/idolize people/groups that are in polar opposition to your goals/ideals. Perhaps this thread should fall under the "know thine enemy" category. Would a thread on the ACLU awards be held in disdain? How about the Sierra Club awards? A Stormfront announcement thread?
My personal take...ignore most of it, except for a few the the technical awards. And I change channels a lot, when Tim Robbins, Woopi, Susan Sarandon etc., etc. come on.
