That would be the Renaissance Hotel. I was there on Thursday helping my brother at the Oscar pre-party "green" event.

No I don't get it. I can understand why some folks don't like Chris Rock but spare me the pious attitude about watching military documentaries.

Whoopi comments on Carson...What an INSULT! Amazing, what a stark contrast between those two comedians.

After our heavily media-covered 2003 'GOD Bless America' 'Support BUSH and our Troops' Freep at the Oscars:
SUSAN SARANDON lost a $20,000 Speaking engagement at a Tampa Bay United Way Fundraiser the very next month
SUSAN SARANDON and TIM ROBBINS were shut-out of a "BULL DURHAM" 15th Anniversary Conference appearance at the Major League Baseball Hall of Fame two weeks later
MICHAEL MOORE's "F-9/11" financial backing from MEL GIBSON's ICON Productions was cancelled.
MARTIN SHEEN's Anti-BUSH 'West Wing' TV Series came close to being cancelled and it's Creator-Producer AL SORKIN left the Show.

OK, I'm watching the "very popular" Counting Crows (very popular eleven years ago, that is), wondering what the heck is up with Adam Duritz's hair, and thinking how much better it would have been if "I'm So Ronery" or "Pearl Harbor Sucked (and I Miss You) had been nominated,.
To: arasina
Yeah I dunno...it was okay. Could have been better.

What's odd is I've heard them live before. They didn't sound like this then. Adam Duritz seems a bit off tonight for some reason.

How come every time a celebrity dies, the TV networks interview Whoopi Goldberg to tell us what that person meant to us all? I feel as if I've seen her pontificating on everyone from Carson to Rodney Dangerfield to Pope John Paul I. How about just showing us more clips of Johnny, or getting someone like Ed McMahon, who actually knew him?Has Elton John written a song for him yet? Those two are turning into real ghouls.
To: wolficatZ
I've never even heard of them.
