Per foxnews alert!
Thanks very much!! I think some of those really great videos would gain more support for Terri.
On another matter, I'm practically positive that you were the one who alerted me to St. Joseph foundation. I sent them info about Bishop Lynch not helping Terri and this is part of the response that I received from them:
"If the worst happens, one canonical possibility is the preparation of
denunciations (A denunciation is a canonical criminal complaint.) of
those bishops who did nothing. Homicide is a violation of ecclesiastical
as well as secular law (c. 1397). Moreover, it is arguable that their
failure to act could be seen as assistance, without which the crime
would not have occurred. Admittedly, this would be stretching a point
and I hope and pray that event will not unfold so as to make
denunciations necessary.

I'm really going to bed this time. I mean it! Goodnight and God bless!
Do you know of Nancy Valko? She is a wonderful writer. You might want to read some of her stuff online. Just google her for lots of it.
No, no. Stay with us. :-)
I would, but I don't want to let everyone down tomorrow. The longer I stay up, the harder it is to catch up. Took me all night to catch up with my pings today! I must've had four or five pages of them!!
Yes, I am Catholic. Are you?
Then after he receives the money so he can care for Terri he "remembers" that she supposedly "said" she wouldn't want to live on life support and that she mentioned it because they were "watching a TV show" about it. But he can't remember what TV show they were watching (more than likely it was a show about someone on a ventilator).
At the time that MS "remembered" that Terri supposedly "said" that she didn't want to live on whatever life support was portrayed on the TV show they were watching, (that he can't remember)- a feeding tube was not considered life support or extraordinary.
There is nothing in in writing from Terri stating her wishes. Yet from this single flimsy statement of MS, "Judge" Greer has been trying to allow the poor woman murdered by starvation? This is total madness. And it is just one of 100 billion oddities and conflicts about Terri's case. (How about Felos ties to the euthanasia movement and his upcoming book for example).
God please help Terri, remove the blinders from the eyes, and unplug the ears of the judges and people who are trying to murder an innocent disabled person. Make them see and hear the truth , make them unable to deceive themselves further about the evil they are trying to inflict on Terri. Remove the hardness from their hearts Father Almighty, that they will turn from this path of darkness and return Terri to her loving parents. Lord hear the prayers of all for Terri , Your will be done -Amen
Re: Post #222.....
To be useful, the organs would have to be taken before dehydration/starvation was begun. Withdrawal of sustenance would no longer be an issue.
Watch the video if you can.
That is the eventual plan, I do believe. Feeding tube removal is the ice breaker.
In regards to the teachings of the Catholic church, Felos and Greer are REJECTING the recent rulings of the pope, and pretending that has no bearing on this case.
But they depended in part on the interpretations by a priest in year 2000, (Father Murphey), of Pope Pius' vague words at a medical conference in 1953, for their condemnation of Terri to death.
But They shouldn't have it BOTH WAYS. They should have been forced to strike out the erroneous testimony of Father Murphey and replace it with this Pope's much more clear definition of artificial life support, and the absolute need for nutrition and hydration for the incapicated, and let a jury decide if the evidence STILL warrants her death sentence.
Greer rejects the pope's ruling because it came after the year 2000 trial, but monster Greer had NO PROBLEM retro-actively applying year 2000 laws to pre-1990 heresay.
Impeach Judge GREER!!!
January 24, 2000 - EXCERPT OF TRIAL - TESTIMONY OF FATHER MURPHY Q (By Mr. Felos) Father, in the Catholic church, do papal teachings or pronouncements hold primacy as compared to the teachings and pronouncements of bishops or cardinals? A Yes. The pope sets the tone. Q Are there any papal pronouncements or teachings in the area on use or removal of artificial life support? A In 1953 Pope Pius the IV met with a group of physicians who considered those questions in conference. Pius was almost prophetic in foreseeing what would happen fifty -- forty years later. The teaching that he taught was that Catholics are mortally bound to respect life and to care for life, but not at all costs. He introduced the concept of extordinary versus ordinary means. A Catholic is mortally bound to take advantage of ordinary, proportionate or disproportionate. . . . Q I want you to assume, Father Murphy, for purposes of this question that Theresa Schiavo told her husband that if she were dependent on the care of others she would not want to live like that. And also Theresa Schiavo mentioned to her husband and to her brother and sister-in-law that she would not want to be kept alive artificially. Assuming that information to be correct, father, would the removal of Theresa Schiavo's feeding tube be consistent or inconsistent with the position of the Catholic church? A After all that has transpired, I believe, yes, it would be consistent with the teaching of the Catholic church.
I have no doubt that as an employee of Prudential Insurance, she has at least a small life insurance policy. And how conveeeeenient is it that Mikey's new common-law wife is also an insurance AGENT? ...and with Mikey also dabbling in insurance. I strongly suspect they would know how to backdate a newer policy for her.
But MORE likely at some point in the mid-90's, since a jury had already found that Terri had 50 more years of life expectancy, that they didn't even NEED to backdate a policy, they might have been able to take one out legally. And since Jodi was no relation to Terri, what's the worst that could happen to Jodi for writing a multi-million dollar policy for Terri in 1996 or 97? lose her job? lose her insurance agency?
Let's also keep in mind the million or so dollars put into Terri's trust fund in the early 90's was invested, and IMO that would have been mostly in the stock market, which TRIPLED in the next 5 years. I suspect the financial statements we once saw, only reflected the original principal minus lawyers fees. I believe there is a LOT more money at stake here for Michael, than what he and Felos are claiming.
If that tactic was good enough for Elian Gonzalez as far as the Feds were concerned (Clinton, Reno, and the rest of the libs were all for it), then why not now in this case?
I thought of the same thing when I was writing that...
Great minds think alike!
PS... Love the picture of the sword!
Amen!
Yep you are so right, fiesti. Our daughter needs a kidney but I would never condone murdering Terri so she could have it (should they match) Terri reacts to people, for Gods sake. Not reflexive reactions either. Methinks someone who has only been here for 10 days has not read all he can or doesn't want to.
I agree and with term life you can get a 10,20,30 etc. year set rate. Wonder if MS is afraid the time limit is coming up.
That's because you know the power of prayer and that there is a higher power than those on this earth who think they know it all. God bless Terri and her family.
