Felos just said on Greta's show that the courts have "already ruled in Michaels favor"---

What is wrong with that sentence? The courts ruled in MICHAELS favor?

I thought this was supposed to be what is best for Terri, or in other words, shouldn't the court be ruling in TERRI'S FAVOR!!!!

Michael can probably have the marriage annulled.

What Michael could do is divorce Terri and make an honest woman out of Jodi and give their children a legal father by having a civil wedding. Once he divorces Terri, another guardian could be assigned, who could seek an annulment from Michael on behalf of Terri. I cannot imagine the Church not going for it. Then Michael and Jodi could have the big fancy Catholic wedding of their dreams, with an annulment in hand. Terri doesn't have to die for Michael and Jodi to have their cake and eat it, too.

The Terri story in my local paper, the leftie-lib Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, had the byline of "St. Petersburg Times". It basically said that this was the last hurrah for the Schindlers and basically prepared the public for Terri's demise by removal of the tube.

No kidding. Michael's deal is probably the one that sent them over the edge!

What does he have to gain? If she's dead, she won't talk about how she came to be in her current situation in the first place, which Occam's Razor and rumors say that he's the one who put her there.

More to the point, it's undeniable he's done everything possible to keep her 'there'. I would not be at all surprised if Terri Schiavo remembers certain 'speeches' he gave in her room which a jury would not look favorably upon.

As I understand it, Medicaid is now paying for her.

But her parents would take her at zero cost to taxpayers.

I'm sure the judge and her husband don't care about the enormous amount of stress they are causing the people who love Terry.

It it even remotely plausible that Terri would rather be put to death under these circumstances than live with her parents!? If she hated her parents, maybe, but there's no sign whatsoever of that.

why does the husband want to remove the tube?

Because "removing the feeding tube" sounds much nicer than "denying all forms of food and hydration".

Crimany! Let the husband pull the plug already! The parents have no say, she was married to her husband. Is there anyone here who would want to live on a tube in vegetable land? I am making sure my Will states that I am not to be kept alive in such a state. This is disgusting, send her home to God.

There's the strong possibility that the condition Terri has been in is a result of actions by his hand.

There is a virtual certainty that the condition Terri is in now is a result of her husband's deliberate abuse.

If Terri's condition now is so bad that she can be considered dead, then Michael Schiavo should be prosecuted for murder for his deliberate efforts to prevent her from receiving therapy.

Rusty Humphries, conservative talk show host, featured a big part of his program tonight on the plight of Terri Shiavo.

Things are really taking shape out there.

Why couldn't Gov. Bush go in there with State Troopers and take over Terri's room. If activist judges can so disregard State Law that is suppose to protect and preserve life, then why can't Gov. Bush decide enough is enough!

Shoot to kill anyone who tries to get in the way. I am so sorry, but when in the world are we going to start standing up to these idiot judges and let them know they are not the law of the land, and start to protect the life and the laws they swore to preserve?

Quit eating and drinking and you will get your wish. You do consume food and water, don't you? Obviously you are being kept alive by artificial means. Time to stop the madness.

The parents have no say, she was married to her husband.

To suggest that a married man who has moved in with another woman, fathered two children by her, and pledged to marry her should have any authority whatsoever over his wife is to make a mockery of marriage.

Please explain the concept of asking St. Jude for intercession.
