Maverick Republican Sen. John McCain said Sunday that his New York colleague, Sen. Hillary Clinton, would do well if she becomes president of the United States.
"I am sure that Sen. Clinton would make a good president," McCain told NBC's "Meet the Press," as both he and Clinton were being interviewed from Baghdad.
While noting that as a Republican, he'll be supporting the GOP nominee in 2008, McCain reiterated, "I have no doubt that Sen. Clinton would make a good president."
Asked whether she thought McCain would make a good president, Sen. Clinton was somewhat less effusive, responding tersely, "Absolutely" - before erupting in her familiar cackle.

so then the islamofascist know for certain that there is a threshold of dead American soldiers and marines that will cause America to withdraw. Nice turn of phrase, very nice, if well, "fair." I would like to see the quote of the undisciplined one (that's one of his biggest character flaws) that precipitated your knife twist; as you say, trust but verify. :)

Captain Queeg has been hitting the sauce a little hard. I used to do that too. Everything looks great at 0200 hrs, and then you wake up with a coyote on your arm.
Had to chew my arm off once to get out of there without waking her.
INCOMING!

However, either senility is setting in or he could have brain damage from his torture. I was speaking ironically about the torture affecting his brain. I think we need to realize that the fact that a man has served his country and even suffered for it does not necessarily preclude him from possessing evil tendencies. I wish it were otherwise, but I'm a realist.

I may be whistling past the graveyard here, but I think that if McInsane pulls a Perot, he'll pull votes from the RATs as well as from the Republicans. How that will affect the actual outcome of the election will depend on how it affects the state-by-state totals and hence the electoral total. However, I don't see a McInsane candidacy having the same detrimental effect that Perot did on Bush 41's re-election bid.

MCCAIN: On the issue of withdrawal, let me just point out, I think it is a false argument.
The key to our continue presence here is not how long we stay, it is the U.S. casualties. We've been in South Korea for more than 50 years. Americans are perfectly happy with that. We've been in Bosnia, we've been in all over the world, but we don't have casualties. If we can bring American casualties down as the Iraqis take over military and law enforcement responsibilities, then I think the American people will be satisfied to see significant progress. I think that is the key to it, rather whether we withdraw or not.

Ya, I think he was speaking about keeping up public support for the mission until it is achieved. McCain is there for the duration until achieved, no matter what the body count. That's my take.

I'm speechless (for once in my life). Has Senator McCain forgotten her lead off political battle "Don't ask...don't tell"...or her failed attempt at reforming medical care...or her recent post election flip flop of embracing conservative values? Yikes! Senator Clinton is even more disingenuous than Senator Kerry!

Hillary is pure evil and it would be a pox on the nation if she got elected. McCains mental instability is also a hazard.
