KABOOM - If you live in California's Inland Empire. What the heck was that?

Okay.. People in the Ontario/Upland area What the heck was that? An earthquake? Lightning? If it was lightning it was the loudest I have ever heard. It shook the whole house, and set off every car alarm on the street.

Hmmm...

I thought I heard that it never rains in Southern California.

Seems I've often heard that kind of talk before.

I am in Upland. You don't hear lightning. You hear the thunder. It was the loudest I have ever heard, and the flash that came before it was incredible. I almost thought it was a zot from JimRob going after someone in my area.

I am here. It was an incredible lightning bolt and the loudest thunder I've ever heard. It shook the windows.

MIDI - IT NEVER RAINS IN CALIFORNIA

Sometimes we have really had enough of water
Mary Jo found that out thirty-five years ago
Water boarding for the terrorists
Lifeguard Ted is so p*ssed
Enough...we've had enough

What the heck is all this rain in California
My roof's leaking, and I think it's just three years old
Why all of the rain in California?
The DemocRATS warned ya
Whose fault?...it's Bush's fault

They loathe George Bush...he fills them with dread
And many have gone right out of their head
Some even wish that they were now dead
John Kerry had won

What's with all this rain in California
The DemocRATS warned ya
Whose fault?...it's Bush's fault

(musical break)

Everybody knows that Bush will wreck the planet
The tsunami happened because he had dropped bombs
Rove keeps spinning out his blather
I heard that from Dan Rather
Who is at fault?...it's Bush's fault

What the heck is all this rain in California
My roof's leaking, and I think it's just three years old
Why all of the rain in California?
The DemocRATS warned ya
Whose fault?...it's Bush's fault

I'm east of you in La Quinta...no military today, but (unrelated to this thread subject) over the past couple of months, we've seen many more than usual of those huge military cargo/passenger planes dropping down towards March AFB.....gives me a better feeling than two years ago when I'd see 'em headed off to the east.

If Michael Moore lived there instead of NYC I would say it was simply a case of him sliping on something and falling on his backside.

But since he does not, I have no idea.
