WHERE: THE SIDEWALK BY MONICA’S GATE,
AKA THE NORTHWEST VISITORS ENTRANCE
THE WHITE HOUSE, 1600 PENNSYLVANIA AVE., NW, WASHINGTON, D.C.
(Washington) The D.C. Chapter of Free Republic, an independent grassroots organization, will be holding a demonstration at the White House this evening in support of former Talon News White House Correspondent Jeff Gannon and the rights of other reporters to do their jobs without fear of being destroyed by the political establishment.
The group will also be bringing attention to several First Amendment-related issues pertaining to the current imbroglio. Among them are the unconstitutional efforts of Democratic congressmen to determine who is a reporter and efforts by the establishment media to shut out Internet-based news sites from having access to government press conferences.
Kristinn Taylor, Co-Leader of the D.C. Chapter of Free Republic, issued the following statement: “It is common knowledge that Jeff Gannon was singled out for personal destruction for the crime of asking a question of the President of the United States at a press conference that was insulting to Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton.
“The Clintonista slime machine, led by former Clinton White House Chief of Staff John Podesta’s Media Matters for America, went into high gear and made an example of Mr. Gannon to any reporter who might dare to challenge Sen. Clinton’s credibility in her anticipated 2008 presidential candidacy.
“What was done to Mr. Gannon was the Clinton impeachement era Ellen Romesch strategy played out for all concerned parties to see. The D.C. Chapter of Free Republic will be out demonstrating for the rights of Mr. Gannon and all other reporters to exercise their rights without fear of personal destruction.”
Do you know for a fact that he is? Who but DU, Daily Kos and americanblog says he is? Do you trust them? I don't. I need a more reputable source first. No. That doesn't include MSM as a reputable source as they've wanted him gone for sometime.
His attorney has told him to stop talking. No one knows why. We'll just have to wait and see.
He took himself out of the Whitehouse press corp. I know he says, and Kristin thinks that he was driven out, by rabid mauraders pursuing him and his family. He had current things going on publiclly in his life, posted all over the internet, I think the exposure of those is hardly a nefarious conspricy.

You've seen the website that Gannon is on as a gay prostitute? I'd really like that url. All I've been able to find is some left wing blog that has face shots that they say are from the website, but all their links either go back to their own site or are dead.

I am constrained by my religious beliefs from supporting any active homosexual. Those constraints are even greater for one that prostitutes themselves and others.
And "Gannon" had no association with pornographic websites.
The only place I've heard that mentioned is at such wonderfully truthful and factual sources as Du, Daily Kos, and other Alice Through the Looking Glass places.

We need to petition the Whitehouse to allow more blogs (non radical ones) into the press corp. Otherwise, there will only be left-wing bias in there.
Think about it, wouldn't it tick off the Liberal OLD MEDIA when the NEW MEDIA get the same action? Plus, the OLD MEDIA says you need to pay your dues before being able to being a Whitehouse correspondent. Are those "dues" required and has everyone paid the same dues? I don't think so.
