Hannity is a great gateway drug to conservatism. I was talking to a friend of my wife's the other day. She's a jewish doctor who voted Democrat her whole life, but she became disgusted with liberals after 9/11.

She's well on her way to being a rabid conservative, but I could tell that right now that the only conservative ideas she comes in contact with are from Sean Hannity and Bill O'Reilly.

Once she's been fully Hannitized, then she might be ready for Free Republic. But if I were to have sent her here in the first place, I don't think she could have handled it.

Well, it's legit for Hannity to give his opinion of FR, so here's my opinion of Hannity, which explains why I don't tune in very often: "Sean, shut your trap and let your guests finish their statements - your interruptions and impatience are RUDE and give conservatism a bad name!"

I've been wondering where the Hannity bashing lately was coming from. I like him. He's one of the few who gave the Swifties the time of day. Rush gave them a lot of attention too, of course. But Hannity singlehandedly dragged cable news into giving the SVfT air time to tell their stories. The rest is history.
