Dean: New York GOP Chairman Must Apologize or Resign Over Controversial Remark By Marc Humbert Associated Press Writer

ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) - Howard Dean, the new chairman of the Democratic National Committee, called on the head of New York's Republican Party to apologize or resign Wednesday over remarks linking the Democrats to a civil rights lawyer convicted of aiding terrorists.

Dean called Stephen Minarik's comments offensive, and said, "The American people deserve better than this type of political character assassination."

On Monday, Minarik said that Dean's election shows that "the Democrats simply have refused to learn the lessons of the past two election cycles, and now they can be accurately called the party of Barbara Boxer, Lynne Stewart and Howard Dean."

I think Stewart was a Dean supporter in the primaries, so what's Howie's problem?

What about the offensive remarks Dean makes everyday? Like "I hate Republicans," for instance?

I never met a politician who had any shame whatsoever.

"From the man who said, "I hate Republicans and everything they stand for."

Exactly. It's Dean's kind of cognitive dissonance and inconsistency that cause millions to just tune him out...and that's a good thing for us on the right.

Why? Amid his primal screams and contradictions, he does come up with some good points and some effective sound-bites. For example, he recently said the Democratic Party was essential to the proper execution and operation of capitalism in this country.

There's truth, in other words, in some of his core messages. Too bad he's a nut and not overly bright, else he could do some damage.

Who does Dean think he is: his filthy mouth will get his A** strung up soon enough. But I don't know what he is so pissed about. It is the party of Babs Boxer.

But more importantly. He is letting the Dum war plan out. It is going to be to attack anything and everything any Repub says and DEMAND they resign. The Dums are really pissed at losing Rather and Jordan.

oh btw SU PATAKI.

What's the problem? Is Lynne Stewart a liberal activist or isn't she? If she is then isn't the Democratic Party her party? I'm so confused.

That was easy! Now let's associate the Democrats with Ward Churchill. We can have Dean spinning like a top in no time.
This nutcase will respond to everything as if it is a personal attack. Let's start pushing his buttons. This could be a lot of fun. It won't be long before an open civil war breaks out within the Democrats between those yelling "Go Dean! Go!" and those trying to lasso him and bring him under some semblance of control. This could be more fun than watching the bigwigs at CBS cross swords with each other.
